Better Than Wormlights.
Great Product! I Know The Colors Are Kinda Washed Out, But, I'm Still Satisfied With This. Also, When I Tried To Keep The LCD Clean Before I Installed, I Still Kept A Dust Mess Under It. I'm Very Satisfied With This Product, Better Than Wormlights.

Garbage
Firstly, a front light on a GBA just looks horrible and there are much better methods to getting a back lit pictureSecondly, the seller of this item apparently refuses to respond to my messages regarding my return of this item. I returned it close to a month ago, and I know they must have got it by now, but have yet to issue a refund. It may only be 25 dollars. but money is money and business is business. To put it simply, DO NOT BUY.

wonderful
It magically gives the impression that there is built in backlight into the original gameboy advance. Its by far the best light accessory available for the gba original's screen. I would recommend it to any game boy advance original owners. Nice light accessory for my gameboy original. I almost forgot to mention that it consumes more battery when using the halo light so i recommend using it only when its night time or you are in a dark room. Note dont unplug the light adapter or else it might get lost, my first halo light adapter got lost so i order my second halo light kit. I highly recommend it. Its a gba original must have.

When it works the brightness is not bad!
The connections are very sensitive. Some issues with brightness and turning off from this. When it works the brightness is not bad!

Read the instructions carefully
Great product so far other than the fact I didn't read instructions properly and there is still glue on the inside of the screen completely my fault. the instructions told me how to prevent that I didn't listen. It's actually pretty bright when you turn it all the way up and just bright enough to make it visible on low however rechargeable batteries I would say is pretty much a necessity as the light does drain a lot of juice if you keep it on high like I do but you should probably be running rechargeables anyways

Not a good light. Had several friends try it and they agree.
-Firstly, the packaging says it's a back light. But to install it, you have to peel off the original gba's outer screen and stick this one on instead, thus making it a FRONT LIGHT. The light is being placed **in front** of the screen. So don't let the packaging and advertisements fool you. A back-lit screen is always going to look better than a front-lit one.-Secondly, it runs off of the gba's power by connecting to its game link cable port. A nice feature is that they added a pass-through port so that you can still insert the game link cable to play multiplayer games. However, the gba to GameCube cable will not fit so you would have to remove the top piece if you want to connect the gba to a GameCube. Not a big deal, but something that should be noted in case somebody plans on using it with their GameCube.-Since it draws a small amount of power through the game link cable port, the light is pretty dim. Either everyone is lying when they say that it's bright and looks just like a GBA SP, or my product is defective. Because even on the highest brightness setting it is still hard to see and not very bright.-Imagine going to the "color" setting on your television and reducing it to about 1/4. That's the effect the light has on the screen. It washes out the colors! There is also an internal glare in between the light and the gba screen itself that simply can't be avoided, causing an annoying horizontal line reflection effect to happen, greatly reducing visibility. That's really all I have to say about this. The washed out colors is the worst part in my opinion. If it was a little dim but at least had distinguishable colors, I might recommend it. But it lies by saying it's a backlight, doesn't get very bright, fades the colors, and has a weird reflection that makes it strenuous to try and see the game. I even let some of my friends give it a try and they couldn't even play it for more than 2 minutes without getting frustrated. In a very dark room maybe it's a LITTLE okay, and that's why I will give it 2 stars. But otherwise I'd definitely say you're better off getting a GBA SP, trying some other kind of device that can light the screen, or just playing under a lamp.

Wouldn't recommend.
It burns your eyes. The light ruins the GBA's colors. Wouldn't recommend.
