Assuming to the listed exterior dimensions are correct (7.5x8.25x4.25 inches), the volume is roughly 260 cubic inches. A gallon is 230 cubic inches, so subtracting a few pennies for container thickness and rounded corners, it should still hold near 1 gallon.

What is the distance between the two screw holes at the top?

Mine appears to be 4 inches center to center, but I can see there can be some manufacturing variations (+/- 1/8"). As another reviewer pointed out, the holes are offset towards the outside of the tabs by about 3/16" from the center of each tab.

Does it come with a cap? Photo does not show one.

Mine did in fact come with a vented cap.

What size hose (ID - Inside Diameter) do you use for the fitting at the bottom?

I used the same hose that was in the Lexus since it was in good condition, I don't know the diameter. I just cut of about 1/2" off to make sure of a good fit and contact.
