Messermeister Pro-Touch Melon Baller, 10mm

I bought this Melon baller and it has been pretty much sitting unused in a draw. Then recently my Instacart shopper bought giant sized seeded grapes when I requested red seedless with no substitutions. While I was issued a credit by Instacart, I still had 3 pounds of grapes with seeds. This tool saved the day. I cut the grape one third of the way down and used this tool to scoop out the seeds. It was the perfect size for the job. I prepped all the grapes at one time so I could just enjoy eating them. Knowing how well this tool worked I would be willing to order seeded grapes. They really were delicious and this tool enable me to enjoy them by minimizing the hassle of dealing with the seeds.

We use a melon baller nearly every day to core apples and pears so when my last one finally broke after 15 years I looked for a replacement with a similar sturdy handle. This one seemed perfect with a great handle. We use it daily and always hand-wash so it is ready for its next adventure... Unfortunately this morning the bowl broke away cleanly at the handle at the solder/joint. I recognize that we may have received a dud and all the others are great but this one barely lasted a month.

Very small, pea sized. Otherwise it worked well, and fast delivery.

The scoop has a slightly sharp edge which makes cutting through the melon easier. Instead of uneven chunks, it’s so much better to present your guests with nice balls.

This thing is awesome! I'm a professional chef and this produces beautiful pea-sized balls. Great for a classic consommé, or even getting your kids to eat veggies! I made a fruit salad using peaches, apricots, plums and pears and it was so fun to eat. Let your creativity go wild!

My melon baller broke. Can you tell how to get a replacement under the lifetime warranty?

Seems strongly made! Saw Jacque Pepin using one of these to make vegetable pearls for a beautiful, clear consomme...and I thought it would be fun to add to my growing collection of cooking tools. This one should last a lifetime.

It's a Mellon baller!. Works well for cutting small Mellon balls for kids lunch.Will also work on Apple's and other fruit.
