Half-baked engineering requires machining on your part to use this product properly.
While the idea behind this product is good, the product lacks proper engineering to be effective as-is. You will need to grind away the powder coating on the lower tube that fits into the legs. It will not fit as-is. You will need to create a semi-circular shim to take up the extra space between the lower tube and middle tube. If you don't, the product will wobble in use. You will need to drill holes in the lower and middle tubes, and the upper rod, and use additional bolts to secure the three vertical pieces at your working height. If you don't, the supplied thumbscrews will not hold the pieces together, and they will collapse in use. And, you will probably want to get a 2'x2' piece of 3/4" plywood, and use 3/8" diameter carriage bolts to secure the four legs to the plywood. This makes the whole unit more stable, and increases the amount of area to stand on when using this product. Or you could bolt it to your shop floor, however the product is designed to be portable, hence my plywood base solution. If you are prepared to do all this, you will have solid tire changing assistance, and $79 incl. free shipping is a good price to pay. But beware if you don't have tools and some basic machining skills you will probably find this product almost worthless as-is.

It's worth it
I've been around dirt bikes for 40 years and this stand makes changing tires a lot easier. There was two things I had to do, (which other buyers gave it less stars), but to me it wasn't worth lowering the rating. Because you just can't beat the price and it's a solid stand. 1st- it does slide down while your changing the tire. Instead of cranking the bolt down hard, find where you want the hieght of the stand, drill a hole in the middle tube, that way the bolt goes all the way through and locks it in easily. 2nd- instead of having to screw and unscrew the wing nut every time you need to flip the wheel. Leave it on all the time, then when you have to flip the wheel, unscrew the top bolt (that holds the top shaft, the one the wing nut is screwed to), and pull it up. It's a lot quicker. To make changing the tire easier, I strongly recommend 3 tire spoons, bead buddy and tire lube.

Missing pieces
Missing the middle bar that holds the top of the stand to the bottom of the stand. I had to rig something up to make it work since I had tires that needed changed to go riding the day after I received it. Very dissatisfied

Light Weight, Great Set-Up
I had my first opportunity to use my new Motorcycle MX Tire Changing Changer Stand Machine to swap out a set of sprockets the other day. This stand is really nice. Its light, so I can just grab it to use, no fuss. I will also take it with me during my upcoming trip to Moab, UT on a motorcycle trip with friends. The anti-slip finish coating on the rings works really well and its fully adjustable for height and it come with a handy huge wing-nut to hole the wheel down securely. I'm pretty tall, yet with the adjustments, I had this tire stand set at the perfect height for a 6'4" person so I did not have to stand there in a bent over position. The feet come in handy also, where you can place your foot on them to prevent the stand from spinning while removing a tire from the rim. I highly recommend this stand, its a must have tool when you service your own dirt bike. Very well constructed and a real pleasure to use.

U need to have a sander of some sort or paint removal stuff.
This worked for doing what I needed,I would have givin it 5 stars but I had to remove the paint inside where tube slides in bottom of stand and the bottom of the black tube, it was kind of an inconvenience, overall good price and I'm happy with it.

Great for changing dirt bike tires!
Stable platform for changing inner tubes and tires. Small wheels are always a challenge, but this tool makes it easier. Large wheels were a breeze. Get some good spoons and tire paste and you are good to go!

Very nice tire changing stand
Very nice tire changing stand. Holds the wheel solid and stable even when forcing the last 4 inches of bead onto the rim. MUCH better than trying to change tires on the garage floor. The Michelins I just put on my XR650L have a stiffer side wall than the knobbies I've been mounting on my WR250 but the stand handled it with no problem. I thought at first that the stand would need to be mounted to something to keep it stable but standing on the stand base gives plenty of stability. The center rod through the hub is essential to keep the wheel from moving around. The only complaint is the height adjustment will not stay up. Falls as soon as work starts. The lowest setting is still high enough to comfortably do the job.
