Great cable
This appears to be well made cable. This provides for a much better solution than RG58 with considerably lower loss. I purchased this cable for connecting ham radio antennas, and I bought enough for my forseeable needs. This cable is easy to work with, flexible, and great for medium size runs. The stranded center conductor allows for the flex, and the inner foam insulation appears to be high density. Covered with a nice black jacket, this cable looks like it will withstand nature. The price was more than fair, as was reasonable shipping. I received the product in less than a week after ordering. Highly recommended for craftsmanship and value.

Nice wire, nice price.
Using this wire for my ham shack. Both ground shield and center conductor are copper. The insulator does not melt when soldering. This is good quality wire and comes with enough wire on a quality spool to last me awhile. Have not tested the wire with my rig expert analyzer yet for losses but I believe this wire will not disappoint. If it does I will update.

Premium stranded 8x cable at a good price.
If you need good 8X cable and are trying to read all those specs., I'll offer this recommendation that Tramflex is the Good Stuff. True, I haven't put it in outdoor conditions for years yet, but making cables using solder/crimp ends, the stranded core, core insulation, shielding and outer material appears to be top-quality. Could not find the velocity factor specification, but appears to be foam PVC. -Good quality cable - good price. Thanks!

Cables work great; connectors easy to install
I purchased this cable to install some ham radio antennas. I needed less than 500 feet of cable but the roll was cheaper than buying the cable elsewhere and a shorter amount. I used PL-259 cables with standard RG8x reducers. I had no trouble soldering the connectors and the reducers fit perfectly. I was putting up three antennas and I needed to make six cables sets. Two for each antenna. I used a window panel with connectors on to get the cable through the window. So I needed an outside cable and an inside cable for each antenna. After making each cable, I checked it for continuity and shorts. Of all the cables I made, I only had one short. I cut the bad connector off and make a new connection. The problem was mine. I got the connector too hot when soldering and the insulation melted and created a short. The insulation on the center conductor does melt when it gets to hot, so one must be careful in soldering the connector. I did not take off a star for this since it was my fault.

Pretty good cable. Priced right.
This is good cable for non demanding applications. I wish it had a bit more copper in the braid. There is barely enough to solder to.

This is the best Coax for the price out there.
I have been using TramFlex for many years (2003) it's well made and reasonable in price.

Just works
I don't have expensive equipment to verify this cable's velocity factor or exact impedance. I *do* have about 300 feet of this cable on several antennas in my yard and have yet to notice any problems at all with it. The connected antennas perform exactly as expected with no issues from the feedline. I've had the cables up for more than a year and noticed no degradation from weather or sunshine. for my portable antennas, the constant coiling and uncoiling has similarly, caused to apparent issues with the cable. I highly recommend this cable.

Good quality coax
First, price is right ! Seems to be of good quality. Shield braid has good coverage, foam insulation on center conductor for low loss. Outer diameter is right to fit reducers and copper wire for ease of soldering. Should handle 500 watts with ease, maybe even 800 watts.

Good quality coax, stranded braid and center conductor. Outer covering is slippery so it pulls well through conduit and ceilings.
