This product is exactly what it states a barrier cream... it doesn't stain fabric... works great as a barrier

Elderly Mom loves this barrier cream to help keep bed sores away on butt bone.

This paste has a gritty feel to it because of the zinc that is dissolved into the petroleum. Applied to a sore area on the buttox, it will commonly form a sort of bandage, protecting the damaged skin from the urine and sometimes feces of an incontinence diaper area. I was told to buy it at an Emergency room where my mother was having UTI issues. She had areas where the skin had been damaged and in treating it by merely applying it thickly on the open skin, in days the skin was healed up. To deal with mild irritations that appear fungal I will apply Monistat first then the barrier cream and it works so well. Thank you for this product!

This product is not the same as is shown on the website. It is a new product that is gritty and far denser than the former Aloe Vesta cream 3 purpose protective treatment. It may work and I am going to use it. But this is not the product that I thought I was purchasing from Convatec. It is not even packaged in 8 oz tubes - so instead of 2 8 ounce tubes, I received 6 4 ounce tubes. They were packaged with 3 tubes in 2 plastic bags that looked nothing like the original Aloe Vesta tubes or even the replacement Sensi Care that was a Convatec product. Each bag had a card showing "old" Sensi Care and "new" Medline Remedy. This is the worst false advertising I have seen on Amazon that I got to by searching for "Aloe Vesta" ointment by Convatec.

Very reasonable price.
