These cameras are great very simple to install and the quality is goodThese are awesome for a cheaper alternative , renter, or someone that can't run wires to each cameraI am very satisfied with my purchase and would defiantly recommend them to othersI did purchase different mounts that came with hard plastic housings as well, and would also recommend these. I didn't try the mounts that came with the units as they seem to be flimsy also after watching many reviews on these cams a lot of people said the same … like" if the wind blows it would give false detection warnings"Again for the price, these cameras are a home run !Hope this helps anyone that's on the fence about these

The media could not be loaded. I like the ease of use if this product. There are no wires to connect or run. The motion detection is very handy and works as stated.At 720p the picture quality in the day time is still good. At nights with ambient lighting it’s ok. But I can’t expect much from this since it’s not HD or 1080p and up.The down side is that the picture quality isn’t that great at night.The live view feature is not that great at night without additional lighting.Overall for me it’s not too many negatives.I was already aware of what I was purchasing and I’m satisfied with it so far.As far as battery life I have not had a chance to test this as yet since I only installed the unit on 09 April 2019.

If I could I would give these 3.75 stars. I like the look and the design does a good job keeping rain, etc off the camera. And the six I’ve installed have all held steady for over 6 months.My only complaints are:1) They are hard to open when it comes time to replace batteries. You have to really pry at them with a flathead screw driver or similar. (But I guess they are secure in that manner)2) sometimes getting the initial alignment is tough with the tension rind adjustment and getting just the right angle.Overall pretty good and I have to be honest, I have no others to compare them to.

It took me several attempts before I found this product, but now that I have, I like everything about it. The mounts itself are very sturdy so I expect them to withstand quite a bit. Mounting it was pretty easy, and once it was up, it was pretty straightforward to position the camera exactly where I wanted it. In addition, the mechanism for attaching the camera to the bracket seems quite secure, much more so than the bracket that came with the camera. I bought 3 of these brackets for my 3 XT cameras, and I was able to install all 3 of them in a couple of hours. This is the mounting bracket that Blink should have included in the box with the cameras!

If you're mounting a camera outside exposed to weather you want something like this, much sturdier than the original mounts shipped with camera. This mount completely encases the camera, is easy to install, is very sturdy and secure, and provides a full 90 degree rotation to each side (180 degree total side to side). I'm very pleased with these mounts and plan to order additional ones, along with the sync module mount from same company, when I order additional cameras.

I've had these mounts for a yr next month & love them. My house is white & unfortunately these outdoor cameras only come in black so these were the perfect solution. Because of the height I had them installed which looked easy. The cameras popped in easy & securely. However, when it came time to change the batteries it was not easy to open the case. The mounts are hard plastic so not easy to manipulate. I needed help with the 1st but today with a few tries I did manage to get the other one open. The only downside I could see is it is difficult to adjust the positioning. However, these are much better than the mounts that came with the Blink.

I was disappointed that Blink didn't provide a better device to secure the cameras. The camera system is superb and works great. You can login and get immediate results and see view what is happening unlike the Ring Doorbell system which half the time you have to watch an advertisement with. That is irritating. Anyway I purchased the mounting bracket and this product secures the cameras better and protects them from the weather. They also make replacing the batteries much easier. I highly recommend purchasing this product and highly recommend purchasing the Blink cameras system. They say they're working on producing a doorbell also. I wish I had bought the Blink system before the Ring Doorbell because I consider it the Ring Doorbell a waste of money. Not only do you have to watch an advertisement but you have to pay a subscription. Whereas the Blink system doesn't have a subscription and it records video for free and you can download and keep the videos.

Cameras fit into the case great. Then you just pop in the covers. if you want it out just a little pressure up under the top and the cover pops out. I also like the room they left for the external power cables whether it be for a standard plug in or solar either will fit with the space left in back. Also dont have any problems with the mic and the speaker for the two way communication. No image interference from the caps and the brim on the top. Overall a rather nice setup at a fair price. I'll be ordering more of these mounts as I order more cameras.
