Tru-Fire Smoke Extreme Archery Bow Release Aid, Black, One Size (SMEB)

I purchased this because the bow release that came with my bow was not a good one. This thing, however, is solid. There are no premature releases. The trigger operates smoothly. It is comfortable to wear. I debated over whether to get this one or the next level up where I could adjust the sensitivity of the release. I'm glad I didn't. I suspect I would have spent a lot of time adjusting and would have ended up right where this one is. *Correction. This Bow release has an adjustment for the trigger. You can decrease or increase the "travel" of the trigger. Sorry for the inaccuracy before.

This release is the jaw style which I prefer over the hook style. The release is very smooth and consistent. I like the way you can put it on with one hand. The strap is comfortable and feels solid. The trigger is adjustable if you want a lighter touch. You can also adjust the length of the connection between the strap and the trigger. Good value without paying a big price and it doesn't hurt that it's made in Superior, Wisconsin.

I like the adjustability of the release and wrist strap is comfortable. The only thing is when you fold the back away from your Palm it doesn’t stay other than that it gets my 👍

I’ve shot about 100 arrows with this release and haven’t had any misfires yet. It’s very consistent and easy to shoot, but it’s a little too big for my wrist. I can’t get it tight enough so it feels like it’s about to slip off my wrist. I’m a 5’7” 140 pound male to give you an idea, so if you’re a smaller guy or woman then this will probably be too big for you. Still a good release for the money. They make a youth version that’s 20% smaller that I might try out

Overall a very nice product. I've used it for over a year with a full season in the field. I shoot 50 arrows a day and have had no issues with the release. Still working great. Would like the fold back and hold feature of other TruFire release aids however that's not a show stopper. Recommend.

Good

Only used one like this once at a archery store, it was easy to use and get used to. I liked it so much I bought one. I've used it and couldn't be more happier. Great product!

Great product very durable .. only con is after 75-100 shots have to replace my d-loop. After about the 3rd d-loop I switched to a soild steel/aluminum.. I've played with trigger sensitivity an it has approved grouping over 45yds . Can only put 1-2 arrows in a target at a time .

Very fast shipping 4 days , amazing quality, durability, great feel around the wrist and the hand. Smooth trigger just an amazing release best I’ve ever owned and I was a truball guy.

You honestly cannot beat the build quality and feel for the price. Barrel is a bit long, however if you usually wear a size large glove and up, this release will be a phenomenal fit. No complaints. 10/10

I just got this to replace the cheap release I had. I have shot about 50 arrows with the Tru-Fire Smoke Extreme, and have not had any issues with it so far. I found it easy to adjust it to fit my hand, I had it adjusted in a few minutes which is a major plus as my old cheap release took a while to adjust and felt like it was going to break. The Tru-Fire Smoke Extreme felt nice and well-made, I had no fear of the release breaking when using it. This is a quality product that is well worth the money.

First time buying a release. Very happy with it. Preforms perfectly. Feels solid

Works great with our 50lb compound bow! I was a bit skeptical after some reviews mentioned it chewing D-loops, but so far it's working fine for us. We also don't mind replacing a D-loop every once and a while.
