I picked this item because it could charge my laptop, in addition to providing extra ports. I’m pleased with purchase.

Perfect size to fit anywhere, has 3 hdmi monitor outlets & 2 usb-c outlets. A perfect setup for karaoke or anybody needing an extra usb based cord to not overwhelm your computer. There is an app "You Must" download to get everything running. I have a macbook pro 14 m-5 & the download only took a few minutes & I was up & running.

This device allowed me to connect 3 monitors to a MacBook Pro M2 that only officially supports 1 external monitor. It works great! It connects to one Thunderbolt port and charges your MacBook at the same time. A must have for any M1-5 chip MacBook owners who need more than 1 external monitor.

I have been using this for 7 months. Overall, I like the product. It adds more functionality to my laptop. A few things I wish I knew before buying (although I should have paid more attention, I guess). Display link adapters are limited to 60hz screens. While this is usually enough for office applications, it would be amazing if this could be higher. The Ethernet port is limited to a 1 Gbps line. DisplayLink officially does support up to 2.5 Gbps. I have a 2.5Gbps network in my house, and this unit is preventing me from getting the full speed (1 Gbps is enough; it just would have been nice) Sometimes the network adapter in this unit freezes up, and I have to power cycle the entire unit. Not the end of the world, more of an annoyance. all in all, I like the unit, it simply could have been a little better.

I have a 2023 Macbook Pro M2Pro chip setup with two LG 4k monitors. I wanted to replace my existing dock, a GIISSMO model, due to random issues with one of the displays, so I ordered the WAVLINK based on the reviews and it claiming to be "plug and play" with macs. The first issue I had was finding out I needed to install the DisplayLink application (and it is an application, not a true driver), thereby making it NOT plug and play. But I decided to proceed with the install to see if it worked well enough to replace my current dock. After getting the app installed and setup, and connecting my monitors, I immediately noticed the picture quality was not as good. I think it was using too much anti-aliasing, making the details "fuzzy." I attempted to look for solutions but found none. Therefore, I chose to return this model and look elsewhere. I have major issues with claiming a device is plug-and-play while requiring a 3rd party application to make it work. So I'm generously giving it 2 stars as it did function, albeit not well enough for me.

I am using this to connect with my Windows 11 laptop and monitor and keyboard. No flickering at all. It automatically set up nice and works great!

Big pain in the butt to download drivers !! If I knew that I would not have purchased it.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON MOUSE LAG: When I first set this up I was getting horrible mouse lag on the monitors connected over DisplayLink. After testing, this is caused by using DisplayLink Manager v14+. Instead, download v13.1 from the DisplayLink site and this will fix the issue. I tested with v13.0, v13.0( from Wavlink’s site), v13.1, v14.0, and v14.1. For both v14 and v14.1, there was extreme mouse lag. For all v13 versions, there was no lag at all. Putting this at the top as it almost made me return it before I figured it out Works great used with a MacBook Pro to connect to 3 external monitors. I have it connected to 2x 2560x1080 ultrawide as well as a 2560x1440 monitor as well. It runs one of the ultrawide and the 1440p over DisplayLink at 60hz and the other ultrawide at 144hz over the HDMI Alt mode.

This device worked seamlessly with my set up and enabled the use of 2 additional monitors for my Macbook Air M3 (2024 model). its very quiet, (almost silent) and the inclusion of a locking support for the host USB-C connector (similar to the old screw in VGA connectors) is excellent and provides peace of mind for a stable connection. The external power supply means that the host's power supply is no longer needed and the host can be powered and connected all through one USB-C/ Thunderbolt cable. My last dockw as for an Intel mac and did not work with the M3 Air. I didnt mind spending the extra money for this device and I do not regret it at all. The previous device used to have moments of intermitent connectivity, where as this WAVLINK worked straight out of the box, once the driver was installed. Excellent value for money. I have not tested it with other devices but for my needs its perfect.

Il device funziona molto bene con MacBook Air m1, MacBook Pro m4 e huawei matebook in mio possesso. Su m1 ho installato il software per avere il supporto multi schermo e tutto funziona bene.

Es un producto absolutamente espectacular, os la recomiendo muchísimo, aparecen muchísimas en el mercado distintos precios y capacidades pero te aseguro que ésta cumplirá con tus expectativas. No se sobrecalenta, puedes poner Mouse y Ratón y va fluido, altavoces, soporta 3 pantallas externas a la perfección, te carga el portátil, tiene función de apagado y encendido se conecta por el Cable Lan perfecto. Mis dieces.
