I really like the packets as it is easier to put in the pond without making a mess compared to liquid. Also, the packets make it easier to meter how much dye is in the pond with when it rains. The reason for 4 starts versus 5 is the black dye does not seem to work as well as the blue in the pond. The blue has a more noticeable impact with each packet than does the black. I will go back to blue on the next go round.

This product did not work for me it was a waste of money put 4 In my one acre lake and did nothing it’s only 8 for deep

This is a good product. Arrives fast, and gets to work fast too!

I would only use this for small ponds. I tried to apply the entire package (25 dye packs) in our pond which is 1.5 acres and 6-8 feet deep. It didn’t come close to dying the entire lake.
