I carry new blades in the scabbard with it, The blades actually last for a pretty good while, then you just pop another in and it’s ready to go some more. The guy hook is a good add on. I like mine and would buy it again and recommend it.

Awesome knife, can't wait to put it to use. The combination of an always sharp cutting blade and the gutter is exactly what is needed to clean a dear or large animal quickly. Nice that you get the extra blades and I didn't have to buy them seperately!

Feels monolithic in your hands.Case is much more sturdy then it looks in the picture.Rubber handles are hard. Provides a good grip with no movement or bend like some rubber grips.Robust steel on both locking mechanisms with zero play. Gutting blade needs a firm press to see liner lock move into position, but this is because the tolerances are tight which contributes to the zero play.If you insert a new blade without holding the button you can hear and feel a tactile click so you know its locked in place.Overall solid performance and would highly recommend especially for the price.

I wanted to use this for gutting and skinning deer but the blades won't stay in. Too dangerous to use. I will go back to my Havalons.Update: Contacted customer service. They agreed I had a defective knife and they replaced it. Excellent response.
