Protected
Keep forgetting that I’m wearing them, and accidentally takeoff my socks with them. But so far they’ve helped prevent injuries!

My husbands must have for skateboarding
He loves these things, he’s a small guy and I’m a cheap person so the xl was significantly cheaper, and I was concerned that they’d be too big but made no difference. He’s 130lbs @5’6. He never goes without these/ but also combos the longer knee/shin gform pads. And we’ve had them all now for a year, with light wear they really don’t wear out, unless you are basically having hard falls which he really doesn’t just hit skateboard hitting him.

OK for soccer ... probably not for mtn biking
Work fine, but they are too short for mtn biking. The picture makes them look taller than they really are. Probably better for soccer. I was looking for something to prevent pedal bashing on my shins. Seem to be decent quality. Fit pretty snug.

Useful for leasure bike riding
Useful for minor spills and or Rat-Trap pedal bites! I forget I even have these on. Should have ordered sooner. Bought another pair as they may wear out due to thin, light materials.

Great flexible protection
The media could not be loaded. I bought these for a bit of added protection when downhill mountain biking. The padding is a soft gel like material that feels nice on the ankle and is not noticeable once it is on. For reference, I am a size 12 shoe US men's and ordered the large Xl which fits great.I'll have to see how they hold up over time, but in my video review you can see how they handled the "impact test". Hope this helps

Hoping for something that is more protective!
I was hoping that these were the hard shells ankle bone guards. They are a soft pliable material, that claims to harden when impacted (by a foot a presume). I don't feel that well protected in these, but have only worn them about 4 times. Not sure if I've been kicked in the right spot(s), where the special protection is. I might continue to try them out, but may look for another option, that provides the appearance and feel of a harder ankle guard.

Great for Kids and Small Adults
Fit my 10 year old daughter well and she has room to grow into them. Protection is only mild but she feels much better with them on and is less intimidated to tackle and get her feet in the fight.

Looks Cool, Fits Great, But Doesn't Harden to Protect, and Slides Around Too Much
I wrote a review for the G-Form Pro-S Elite shin guards, detailing how the foam material doesn't harden and the guards don't provide the protection that it advertises. My experience of the ankle guard is consistent with my experience of the shin guard: Looked cool, fit great, didn't protect. The little patches of foam over the ankles absorbed little to none of the impact they received when I tested the guards. Also, the sheer material on which the foam pads rest is so slippery and stretchy, in game conditions it is just as likely that the foam pads---even if they hardened and protected as advertised (which they don't)---would slide and get shoved around by an opponent's cleats, and my ankle would get scraped regardless.Eh. I wish it were otherwise. These guards don't harden and protect as advertised, and that's the primary point of guards. They still look cool and fit well, but because they don't do their job, they are being returned.
