Durable and amazing way of charging
Best headset I’ve owned, the quality is brilliant, mic isn’t 100% but it’s clear, mostly used for gaming, the occasional teamspeak. The strongest points for me with this headset is the Bluetooth with my phone. I’ll play games on the computer in the morning, then pick up my headset, head off to valet and detail cars (my business) and keep the headset on. I have a high quality and durable headset to play my music. Then when I’m home.. simple switch out the battery, no need for plugging the headset in. Then as I game, the other battery is charging. It’s a game changer, always had ‘wireless’ headsets, that have needed to be charged whilst playing, therefore losing the wireless quality. One thing i would say is the cups may be slightly too shallow, after a while of use I’ll feel the cups touching my ears, can be slightly uncomfortable if I’m online for an entire day. Overall though, very comfortable and a well thought out design etc. Pleased

I tried all the headphones. Trust me.
Pros: - Reliable. - 2 battery system (one on charge always so you never run out) - Comfortable. - Features out the kazoo. - Impressive sound. Cons: - Look cheap. - Not cheap. - Controls are confused. Thankfully they don't require much fiddling once you're setup.

Great Product
I will start this review by saying that I am an enthusiast of FPS games and as a result I was driven to buy a high quality headset for both communication with team-mates but also and more crucially, for greater immersion and realism when detecting the sounds of enemies. For these purposes i find this headset to be outstanding. I viewed this headset as something of a risk due to its high price however what was delivered was of excellent quality, comfort and provides a sound thats been unrivalled in my experience. I am a convert from mid range Turtle Beach products which cannot rival this headset on either its ease of setup, build quality, sound quality or battery life. Really great product and speedy service, keep up the good work Steelseries and Amazon.

Dissapointment!
This is a joke. Brand new kit received today, both batteries flat and when put to the charger shows full and not charging, and all the time the same does not metter how many time I swap them, also often not even indicating they are in! Everywhere I read say the battery must be very old to do that, waste of time, if this is the item they send after spending £240 then I pass!! And the quality, I really thought it will be WOW but it's normal like cheap phones and what's the worst - they are very quiet and drops connection across 2 walls! Waste of time by thinking more you spend better you get! Think twice! Also transmiter requires main power but the lead is a joke too short! Also no manual or technical instructions explaining confirmation apart from cheap cable drowning. And the best one - no optical adapter to connect to the modern 3.5mm jack worth 1£! My first and last shopping from weakseries! Item returned next day!

I love the audio control
This headset was highly anticipated upon arrival. I love the audio control, audio quality and comfort overall. But the mic is horrendous. I have been told i sound like an alien and i create an echo in party chats. Also the headset is advertised as wireless but you are required to use a cable to chat. I dont recommend this product for playing with friends but if you only play alone this is a nice headset.

Great head phones bought one set for me and one ...
Great head phones bought one set for me and one for my son. The sound is ok not brilliant but for gaming they are perfect Why 3 Stars? Well the battery situation. These eventually die and the only way in Europe to get new batteries is to return the entire headset. I did this once for my son but it is painful to do this. They need better battery management so that the batteries last longer. Allowing them to run flat is not great. And yes they say you should change at one bar but who watches the levels that closely. If they should not be used beyond one bar then cut off power at that point and then force a battery swap. I have had to resort to finding alternative batteries for the headset. This is possible but these will not charge in the sound box so you need a separate charger. Again just painful. A V2 with this sorted out would make them awesome until then I would be slow to buy them if in Europe. Maybe this issue will get sorted.

Superb headset
Best headset I've ever owned, the battery system even though probably outdated at first glance, is actually quite ahead of its time once you actually start using the product, as you quickly realise you ever run out of juice. Sound quality is surreal, it literally blew my mind the first time I had them on, it immerses you like no other set of headphones I've ever tried. Bass quality is probably the best in the market. Build quality is quite solid. Comfort wise could be slightly better but with 6 hours of daily usage I can't really complain at all by the end of the day. Recommend.

You’ll probably still need to be attached to the sound card box
I wanted a set of Bluetooth headphones that looked like the old style ones and I found these. They work great when attached to the computer but require the sound card box attached for the sound and the microphone to work with clear quality. You can connect them with just Bluetooth but the quality drops dramatically. The batteries are great, you can play pretty much all day with one in while the other charges and then switch ready for the next day. Can connect to phones aswell. Microphone hides inside the headset and is retractable and you can hang these around your neck and wear them out if you feel confident enough. I bought these for the Bluetooth and the look as I feel they look better than all the square gaming headsets that are out there. A couple of things I don’t like but are manageable. The colour of the side caps are silver and on the 800s they were black. I preferred the black but can’t get hold of replacements so I’m thinking about spray painting them and that I still need to be connected to a sound card box thing. I mean I get it because Bluetooth quality is rubbish but I wanted to reduce the things I need to carry with my laptop. It also doubles as the battery charger so I will let them off because you would need it plugged in somewhere else anyway so might aswell have it plugged in by usb.

Arctic 7 is better.
Its very tight on the ear. The ear cups arent soft. Bluetooth doesn't work very well and setting it up to the PC is a huge hassle. Go for Arctic 7. That is way better, but no Bluetooth. Still better
