Star Wars foundmi 2.0 Personal Bluetooth Tracker, Chewbacca

I went with the foundmi because i had tiles before they had replaceable batteries and after a year i needed to buy brand new ones. I was having to constantly repair the foundmi. The foundmi app is missing the last known location that the tile app has. The back and the battery has fallen out somewhere, this not only makes the foundmi useless, but also a health hazard (i have toddlers). The found me did not last me a year, maybe 6 months before it broke. Until they update the app to include features that tile has, and maybe add a small screw to the battery compartment I cannot reccomend foundmi. It seems to me they have more money in licensing and less in features. (Charcters are cute and that is why i gave it 2 stars)

Worked great for a little bit. But then I got a new phone. I went to open the Foundmi app to pair with my new phone and I can't even do anything in the app. It keeps reporting Auth problems even though it says I'm logged in and errors when I try to log out. So I deleted the app, redownloaded, and tried to log in. I used Facebook as auth before so tried it again. It sees that I've done it before but errors out when the token is passed back to the Foundmi app.So right now the Foundmi is useless. At first I liked the idea of the Foundmi since they come in fun characters and have a replaceable battery. But it's useless if it can't function.

I had read the other reviews and kind of wrote them off. "It can't be that complicated" I thought.Well initial set up wasn't. The constant re-setup is. Constantly getting pairing requests. Half the time if not more when I go into the app it has no idea where my keys are. Even more annoying is getting it to locate the phone, which probably only works 1/4 of the time.

Not only cute, it had a multipurpose function of key finder, phone finder and remote photo picture taker and works well and easy to set up. out of all the products out there like this. I recommend this brand the most. For what you are getting the price is great and it can just add a new battery instead of replacing the whole unit which a lot of the others need to.

The app required to use this item has terms of service that require you to let them monitor other software on your phone. I think it's invasive, I do not trust their alleged reasons, and I am returning this item.

First time he lost his keys we couldn’t track to find them so switched tracking device

Works perfect paired up first time no problem, thinking of buying more for collection.

Couldn’t get it to pair. Returned it.

Keeps loosing connection with my phone and not able to sync now.... worked great for a week then non stop issues .... now it’s just a fancy key chain ... maybe it will work again
