***Disclaimer - I cannot talk about the capacity of the batteries currently since I do not have a tester handy with me*** I am a father of two kids and being a certified geek of the house, I have hell lot of gadgets and toys which require AA, AAA and D batteries. Till now kept on using Eveready, Panasonic or Duracell batteries, and even then I had so many gadgets that I had to keep rotating the set of batteries. I have used all the costly rechargeable batteries as well, and even the eneloops have not been great in keeping the charge and have been mostly useless when my kids want to play with a certain Robot or Car and there are no batteries, so I have fallen back to regular batteries a long time back. Now none of the other batteries available online or in local market come in more than a pack of 12 or 20 (or that is the maximum no. of units I have been able to buy at a discount). But for a heavy user like me the discount that comes with this pack of 100 is something that no other battery manufacturer will be able to match. Also there have many Amazon Basics stuff I have used, from their Headphones to Wall Mount to different types of cables to their microfiber clothers. I have used most of their products and most of them have been value for money products. So I knew that these AAA batteries even if will not be the best, will still definitely be value for money. Included in this set are 100 batteries that are shrink wrapped in groups of 4 so you can just take out only a pack of 4 at a time and leave the rest of batteries in the box itself. CONS : Same batteries available in US have a shelf life of 10 Years, so I am not sure why Amazon has written 5 Years of Shelf life in the key product details. Are they selling some sort of inferior products in India? ( Edit : Amazon have now updated the listing so this point may not stand but I am still not removing it till the time I test these batteries) ======================================================================================================== Now just a rough calculation of per unit cost of the AmazonBasics AAA batteries with other batteries that I have bought in the past : Amazon Basics AAA 100 Pack = Rs. 13.99 per unit Amazon Basics AAA 36 Pack = Rs. 14.58 per unit Amazon Basics AAA 20 Pack = Rs. 16.25 per unit Amazon Basics AAA 8 Pack = Rs. 24.87 per unit Duracell Ultra AAA 8 Pack = Rs. 40 to 50 per unit Duracell AAA 8 Pack = Rs. 30 to 36 per unit Panasonic AAA 4 Pack = Rs. 21 per unit Eveready Ultima AAA 10 Pack = Rs. 35 per unit ======================================================================================================== I will be testing the capacity of the battery and comparing it with the above batteries available with me, with a proper tester in the coming weeks and then can present a better value for money product. Do mention link and name of battery if you would like to see such a comparison apart from the batteries mentioned above.

J’ai acheté ce lot de piles alcalines AmazonBasics AAA et je suis vraiment satisfait(e). Pour le prix, 20 piles, c’est imbattable. Elles ont une bonne autonomie et fonctionnent parfaitement dans une variété d’appareils du quotidien — télécommandes, jouets, souris sans fil, lampe torche, etc. Même après plusieurs semaines d’utilisation, elles tiennent bien la charge et n’ont montré aucun signe de fuite ou de défaillance.
