Amazing this is! I was introduced to this tea by my colleagues when I caught severe cold and cough while on business travel. Being in a different city and different weather, when cold medicines did not work much, this tea did wonders. After having 2 sachets, runny nose stopped and cough reduced considerably. Infact, I ordered for my family and parents too! They loved it and had it everyday in morning during winters and found this to be very effective. I reordered for them and again when winter comes I will again order. Pros: - Ingredient list is all ayurvedic - Sugar used is sugarcane sugar - Easy to use as you just need to dissolve in boiling water. Use less water (maybe 3/4th cup) for better results - Helps control cold specially during changing weather Cons: - Expensive Though on expensive side, this tea is a must try specially for people prone to cold and flu in changing weather

This was recommended to me by a friend, taking into consideration the cost of the product in comparison with other products like Dabur Honeytus. I ignored it for once. Post trying Dabur Honeytus I was not completely satisfied so I went ahead and bought this ignoring the cost for once. When I first tried this I felt good, it not just tasted sugary and only ginger which is the case with Dabur Honeytus. I could feel warmth in the throat and it even treated mild cold in just a day. Not sure whether this boosts immunity but for sure heals the throat, I take it as soon as I start getting symptoms of the cold, also the flavour is very good you could feel flavors of multiple herbs like, fennel seeds, mulethi, ginger, pepper. It is a must-have product at home.

Samahan has been my remedy for the last four and a half years. It actually reminds me of chyavanprash and its non-gooey cousin pankajakasturi. Suffice to say, I'm glad I have been more sincere with this than I was with either chyavanprash or pankajakasturi! In fact, I absolutely love the taste of sampan-infused tea or water. I am a firm believer in the saying, one man's meat is another's poison. But I do hope everyone gives this product a try. It is one of the best herbal remedies out there and certainly a welcome alternative to chemical-based medication. No wonder it's price increased from ₹7 per sachet to ₹8 earlier this year.

Very nice ayurvedic medicine...I have an allergy issue ..I get my throat all swollen during winter .....which then causes viral fever and I had to take days off from work..last year I started taking this as precautionary measure and it worked wonders ......I had lot of relief in the situation and never had throat bad enough to take a day off .....doesn't really cure cold and bad throat but prevents from the problems and helps containing the issue....at ₹8 a sachet it's a bit expensive but saves many trips to the doctor

An amazing amazing product that works wonders for my family and me. We live in Gujarat and due to dust and weather variations, we always end up getting allergic colds and coughs. But since the time we started consuming Samahan, we have been able to successfully keep the colds and coughs at bay. Basically have one sachet thrice a day the moment you feel it's the onset of the flu, and the next day you'll feel the difference.

This is the best herbal supllement for cold, cough, sinus etc. It helped my mother to get rid of a prolonged cold which wasnt cured even after taking halopathy meds. It helps my son who is allergic to cold and cough if he drinks juices or ice creams. Once we get hint of him having little cold we start link samahan and it ensures he doesnt get that severe bout of cough and cold which made him suffer at nights.
