JENSEN JTA-990 3-Speed Stereo Turntable CD Recording System with Cassette Player, AM/FM Stereo Radio & MP3 Encoding

For $200, this is a really nice piece of equipment. So far, it has reliably recorded about 15 records/cds. It's fairly simple to do, although maybe more difficult for novices. It seems fairly sturdy, it's small, records from many different sources, has a decent sound output, etc. It also doesn't take long to set up. Great buy!

Even if it had worked properly, which it did not, this product is disappointingly shoddy and cheaply made. Plus, it did not work. The AM/FM radio had good sound through both speakers. However, the turntable, CD player and cassette player did not play through both channels and did not respond to the volume control. So you get poor, muffled sound out of one stereo speaker and silence out of the other. If all you want is a radio, go for it. But if you want a way to play your CDs and cassettes, as I did, this is not the answer. I can’t believe that there is no decent, reasonably-priced music system on the market that plays LPs, CDs, cassettes and other still-prevalent media.

My wife and a friend have a hobby of buying old vinyl records and loading them onto CDs. This unit works great. It has been WELL USED

The Sound System was ordered to be given as a Christmas Gift for a family member. When I received the Sound System it was defective. The CD tray would not open. There were stratches on it as well. The sound on the system is great. I am not pleased for having to pay to return the item.

I can play tapes, records, cds, mp3 files and am/fm radio! I can also record them all to a thumb drive, and an extra bonus to me is I can burn them all to a cd-r or cd-rw! Wow! I am so happy I bought this stereo. All of the 5 options are easy to play and are on the front, thank you Jensen for that. Also, they are all easy to manipulate by stereo or remote. The remote is another thing I love. However, the print on the remote is very dark and small. But, I'd give 10 stars if I could.

This system reminds me of my youth. I had a Jensen stereo with turntable and speakers and it was great. Still is. It was packaged very well and am very pleased overall!

The entire reason we bought this was to play vinyl. Nothing about the phonograph works. The turntable never stops spinning unless you turn it off completely, But... when you place the needle on a 45 to play it, THEN the turntable stops and it is impossible to play a 45! Tried it on a 33 LP and it'll play for just a bit, then the turntable just STOPS!Of course, this was past the 30 day return policy on Amazon, so we are strictly out of our money!

Cd recording is very simple yet quality is recommendable.

I WANTED THE ABILITY TO PLAY CKS AND VYNAL FOR MY OWN PERSONAL USE

So disappointing! If I could give it no stars, I would. The power light went on when I plugged it in, but nothing worked. The turntable wouldn't turn, the CD player wouldn't open. I bought it as a birthday gift for my husband. Some present! Don't waste your money.
