Instructions for British Servicemen in Germany, 1944 Library Binding – May 15, 2008

I'm German living in the UK and my golf instructor keeps pointing out how I have a very different approach to learning the game than his other students. So I bought this for him to "better understand me" ;)

This book, and the others in the series, are a great look back at a different world. They serve as a reminder of what went on as well as giving an insight in to the world of our parents and grandparents. They are both educational and entertaining in equal measure, and as a Brit living in Germany, are a source if interesting conversation over dinner!

Interesting little history book

I bought this for my boyfriend one Christmas and he found it fascinating. He read it in one sitting with a beer and didn't take his eyes off it. It was a brilliant spark for discussion too.

Fascinating and historical. Helped me to understand British attitudes of that era.
