Shoulder 1" Strap Pad

I have purchased several of these in different sizes, the 1", 1.5", and 2.5". I have at least two in each size. Some are black, some clear, and one is blue. They work extremely well on every purse or backpack I've tried them on. Usually my purse will slip off my shoulder, no matter what type of material it's made of, or what type of material I'm wearing. With these pads, I don't have to worry about that. They grip my shoulder nicely, no matter what I'm wearing the wedge shape also helps keep it on. I keep the higher side on the outside, so it's less likely to want to fall. It's nice to have the different sizes for various sized straps. It even works with a bag that has two really thin straps. I found the easiest way to do it was place the straps next to each other, instead of on top of each other, when fastening the strap pad over it, and it worked very well. The reason I have at least two in each size is because I occasionally forget to take them off when I switch bags, and if I need a different size for the purse I'm switching to, by the time I need the previous size, I may have forgotten which bag I was using. The cost is so reasonable, and so well worth it, it's nice having extras just in case. I've recommended them to my friends, but they don't seem to have the same problems I do with bags slipping off their shoulders. This is an example of one of those rare gadgets that seems like a good idea at the time, and actually does work as advertised! I recommend this for anyone who needs something similar. I've even used the two-inch straps on carry-on bags, and they work great for that purpose, too!

I purchased two of these, a one inch and a one and a half inch for various bags. I have numerous camera bags purposed for different equipment. I appreciate being able to remove the pads quickly from one bag to another. They grip the shoulder well, keeping even the heaviest of my bags from sliding. They are as comfortable as any of the padded shoulder strap pads I have ever used. I would have liked them to be a bit longer, to grip a larger area but other than that they work as intended and are more comfortable than expected. Four stars for comfort, five stars for portability.

Great item and hold up very well, I have 6 of them --all black -- now i'm waiting for the 1 1/2" to come in and I'll order a bunch of that size also ..I have many bags and I don't want to have to take them on and off so I want one for each bag. So you ladies know, this item works like a charm --holds your bag strap very securely-- So much better than the ones that have sticky backs! This was a great find for my needs!

Several times a week I walk two miles each way to my daughter's house to babysit my grandson. Often I need to take a cloth tote bag to transport things and often even if I go over without one I return home with one because my daughter has given me something good to eat for my dinner. The problem with cloth totes is twofold - the shoulder straps don't stay together and one or both constantly slip off my shoulder as I walk. This ingenious item solves my problems. The straps stay together and on my shoulder. The straps on the tote I've been using this pad on are actually about 1.25" wide but because they are of soft fabric both fit into the pad by being folded. I have another tote with slightly stiffer straps that are 1.5" wide and amazingly I can get this pad around them and snapped. But I'm here on Amazon hoping to find the same pad in a wider size to use on that tote. Now, I have not yet hauled a heavy load using this pad. There is no cushioning so possibly with a heavy load this pad would not feel too good on a two mile walk. One last thing - there is as much gripping power inside this pad as there is on the outer underside. So not only does it hold good on your shoulder, the strap stays where you want it inside the pad.

Good item to buy to prevent shoulder strain from handles on bags/purses. Kinda small, since it is one inch. Would be better if it were wider like 1.5 inch. However it does a good job of preventing strain on the shoulder and it does keep in place pretty good with the two locks/buttons it has.

This shoulder strap pad keeps my large nylon purse strap on my narrow shoulder. I don't have to hang onto the purse at all. I love it! I have a black bag, so it is not particularly noticeable. It is not as bulky-looking as it appears in the pictures. I was particularly impressed with the quick shipment. I ordered standard shipping on a Saturday afternoon, received shipment notice on Sunday, and the package was delivered on Thursday or Friday.

i bought this for the strap of my healthy back bag made out of microfiber when the strap kept slipping. Unfortunately, this pad was not the answer. It snaps on easy enough, yes, but as you carry the bag on my shoulder it becomes twisted and moves up and down the strap. Very annoying. I will keep it and use it for luggage straps or something else. But for my bag, no dice.
