I wish I'd taken a photo. Relaxing on a rock in a small river, I completely forgot my phone was on the rock beside me. I shifted position, and was uncomfortable, thinking I was sitting on a pack clasp. I wiggled, trying to wiggle the clasp out from under me, and hear a crunch. "Shoot, I damaged a clip, that's an easy repair"...only to find I'd sat on my face-down Pixel and ground it into the stone below me. The surface was obliterated. I hoped the damage to the screen under the protector was minimum, but there was no way my 180lb wiggly self + rock sandwich could have resulted in anything less than a crack or puncture. There was a point in the rock, and I could SEE where it had pressed into the screen protector. When I got home, I peeled it off, bracing for damage and running through the number of times I had used insurance...do I upgrade or do I do a screen replacement? NOTHING, y'all. NO DAMAGE. The cover peeled off as a glittery, shattered sheet - but my phone was fine! I put on the backup protector and am ordering a new set now. This thing saved at least $200 (based on the last replacement) plus an hour's drive (and gas) to the nearest place that will do it, PLUS the four hour waiting around until it's fixed. I'm thrilled!!!!!

Great screen protector! I've had this on my phone for over a year and have had no problems with it. Fit was perfect for both the screen and the camera. After a year, I finally had to replace the camera protector after a nasty fall and I was really worried I had cracked it all the way but the protector saved the day! Took all the damage and left my camera screen in perfect condition. Once I was home I was able to replace it with the back up as this came with 2 sets! Definitely worth the money, especially because its a two pack!

I was rock climbing yesterday and pulled my phone out to take a picture at the top of a 70' (21m) climb. I apparently didn't place it back in my pocket properly and when I lifted my foot to make my next move it fell out of my pocket. I watched it bounce (while screaming "rock!" to my partner Andrew...who has already seen it and actually almost CAUGHT IT) down the climb and land on a pile of gear near Andrew. I was already preparing mentally for the worst and I was pretty disheartened while Andrew lowered me off the climb. He took me off belay and went to retrieve it. The phone was still on and functioning perfectly. We were both in shock. The screen protector was badly battered and cracked, but when I removed it today I couldn't believe my eyes. The screen is totally fine. The edged of the case itself are a little banged up but nothing huge. It was in a minimally protective Otter box case and I'm sure that helped but it had actually come out of the case on the last bounce (which fortunately wasn't a long one). This screen protector one HUNDRED PERCENT saved my phone. It would have been destroyed but after I replaced it with the new one it looks exactly the same as it did before the fall. I'm in disbelief. I tried to add a few pictures to show the protector at different angles. Anyway, I'm never buying another brand of screen protector again. If you're on the fence about this one, just know that it handled a 70' fall down a rocky climbing crag with at least 5-6 bounces on Rocky Mountain granite with ease. Yes, it was pretty destroyed, but my phone is fine. MY PHONE IS FIIIIIIINE!!!! Many thanks to this brand for making an amazing product (and to OtterBox too, but that's a different review). I own a Pixel 8 but I have little doubt it'll work just as well on lesser -I mean others- phones like Samsungs and iPhones. SO grateful right now.

Stop spending $40+ on any screen protector. I used to buy premium $40+ protectors, only to find they crack equally as these. These are essentially $5/protector, and every time I crack one, I don't have to think about the cost and just replace it immediately.

***UPDATE*** The vendor did contact me and offered me a choice of a refund or replacement. I thought that was very fair. Also, the actual screen protector did settle down and somehow the dust and air bubbles have mostly disappeared after about 3-4 days. Had I known this, I would not have wasted the first protector. So if you get these, just know you may have dust and bubbles, at first, but they will likely disappear if you're patient. The applicator frame and size of the protectors are very good. The vendor did not ask me to update or change my review, but I felt compelled to do so in fairness and accuracy. ******************************** Camera protector is pretty decent, but both screen protectors were full of dust and air bubbles upon installation. I followed all instructions and have plenty of experience applying these types of glass screen protectors but there must be dust on the contact surface from the factory, as both of the screens went on with tons of dust underneath. I reached out to the seller, but have yet to receive any response. I will say that after a day or two with the cover on the phone the dust and air bubbles are much less. Maybe the warmth of having the phone in my pocket helped. Super frustrating though and no response from seller.
