39" 5000 Watt Infratech Dual Heater

After research at the infrarech web site, purchased this lamp. Installed about 8 feet up under an eve pointing down and out at my back deck at a 45 degree angle. Installed switch to have one or two elements on. Takes chill out at 50, and , when it's calm, to 40. Have been taking work calls on deck. Construction is very good. Beautiful finish.

We put this heater in our outdoor room. The room is 9 x 18 and open on one side. It easily heats the whole area. I bought the dual controller as well. There is one knob for each of the two elements. It works by cycling the element on and off proportionally to the number on the knob.

Even though they stock most items, you can not return them. I Ordered two recessed flush mount frames with the wrong finish on Monday and received them on Friday. Obviously they were not custom made. They pulled them off their shelf and will not take them back and put them back on their shelf. I'm out $950!

These heaters have been great for our patio. We have each bar wired to a separate switch allowing full and half power - full power is very warm. Does require dedicated 240V wiring. So far after 1 year, so good.

Not as warm as you would expect.

We bought two of these and they heat up the whole patio (18 ft x 18ft).
