NOMAD Modern Leather Case English Tan Compatible with iPhone 17 and 18 Pro Max Leather Magsafe Charging

Very well-made case. Nomad is known for producing high-quality leather cases, and the Modern Leather Case adds TPU borders to provide a bit of extra protection. If you prefer a more classic, all-leather look, you may want to consider Nomad’s traditional leather model instead, which features leather all around. I almost kept this case, but I personally don’t like the open camera bump design. That’s purely a matter of personal preference. If you like the open camera bump, don’t mind the modern aesthetic, and appreciate the added protection from the TPU borders, this case will be a great choice.

It is as magnificent, beautiful, and durable as the company states their product is, I would definitely agree 100% very pleased with this modern leather phone case

Case looks amazing. Great packaging and modern design with great camera control. Only a few complaints that prevent this from being the perfect case. First, there is no lip if you have a screen protector on so if your phone falls face down be prepared to install a new protector on it. Also applies if you lay your phone face down, the protector is going to be in contact with the surface. Probably not a big deal if you decide to go without a protector but most people will. Lastly, the case is rather slippery. I know it takes a while for the leather to break in but I figured with the sides not being leather, they would have a decent grip. Not the case for this phone case. The sides are just as slick as the back. The action button and power button are textured and feel great but I wish they could have put some texture on the sides to lesson the chances of dropping.

I was debating between this one and Nomad’s full leather case. I decided to try this one since I figured it might have better protection for the 17 Pro Max due to its aluminum encasing. A TPU/rubber bumper might be a bit better than full leather when dropping the phone. Then again, let’s try to not drop the phone in the first place! The metal buttons are all amazingly tactile and clicky. The camera bump is plastic unfortunately, but I guess that’s one less thing to scratch if it was metal. Looking at the USB-C cutout, it actually looks misaligned, but since the opening is pretty big, it doesn’t exactly affect any wires from being plugged in. I like the two-tone look of the case with the silver iPhone. Very neutral colors while staying a bit classy with the leather backing. Even though it’s a very thin layer of leather and it’s pretty slippery, I don’t mind the overall aesthetics. The front lip is definitely high enough to not have the iPhone screen touch a surface when laid face down. The TPU bumper actually goes over the screen slightly so you can’t see any of the silver from the iPhone, unlike the full leather cases that do show the iPhone colors. Lastly, the concave sides help with grip slightly, even though the bumper has a pretty smooth feel. It still takes some effort holding the phone in one hand, but it does help when trying to grab the phone off a table. I guess the one down side is adding some more weight and thickness to an already hefty iPhone. If you’re okay with that, then this case will work just fine for you.

I’ve been a fan of Nomad cases for a while, so this one hurts a little to write. The design is beautiful and the case feels great in hand, but after just two weeks of regular use, I noticed visible discoloration/wear around the charging port. That’s much faster than I’d expect from Nomad. I still love the brand and their style, but this particular unit didn’t live up to the usual quality I’m used to.

I’ve had this case a few months and it still looks brand new. I like a thinner case so this is perfect. All buttons work fine through the case.

This is a premium product. While it feels soft and smooth in hand it looks very durable and robust without adding extra volume or bulk. Switched from the tech woven immediately.

Die Hülle ist sehr gut verarbeitet, dass Leder macht eben sehr wertigen Eindruck, riecht gut und die Hölle passt zudem perfekt, ohne groß aufzutragen, auf mein 17 pro max. Fast optimal, könnte man sagen, wenn sich nicht ein unschönes Manko nach nur kurzer Benutzung einstellen würde. Zum Hintergrund ist noch wichtig, dass ich aus Spaß an der Freude insgesamt vier Hüllen im Wechsel nach Laune und Tagesvorliebe nutze. Somit also diese Nomad-Hülle bei weitem nicht in Dauernutzung ist. Nach nun fünf Wochen im Besitz drückt sich nun schon deutlich auf der Rückseite der Hülle der Macsafe Ring sichtbar ab. Das ist bei meinen anderen beiden Lederhülle, die zudem schon länger in Nutzung sind, in keiner Form der Fall. Entweder ist das Leder der Nomad Hülle schlicht zu dünn, oder es fehlt ein Schutz, den andere hochwertige und ebenso teure Hüllen mit sich bringen. Ich bin da kein Fachmann. Leider ist die Rückgabefrist abgelaufen. Ich werde diese Hülle somit tunlichst von Macsafe Zubehör fernhalten. Was an Ende aber beim aufgerufenem Preis für mich nicht der Sinn der Sache sein sollte.
