Works as expected
After just one day's use I'm really liking this pen-mouse. I ordered it without high expectations based on the reviews but with a lot of hope. I volunteer tutor for a nonprofit organization that supports under-served students to get into college and be successful. For the past several years this has all been online. I've tried using a stylus and Whiteboard on Teams with poor results. My finger is better on my touchscreen than any stylus I tried. This little device may not be as good as drawing organic structures on paper, in person, but it sure helps make my efforts passable. At least all of my strokes show up. I love that I can kick back on the sofa with my laptop and scroll, cut, etc. in comfort as I prepare for meetings with students. Yes, it's plastic and feels cheap, but it is definitely serving me. It is comfortable to hold, a rechargeable AAA battery I'm using has lasted about 8 hours so far. Definitely worth the price at this point in time. Update: After a couple of days of use I'm getting better at controlling my strokes. Because I don't keep it in the holder while using it, and hold it between my first and second fingers as I do my version of typing, I sometimes have to reorient it by tapping the light end on the desk or flat part of the laptop when I want to use it as a mouse or as a pen.

Go for it! Remember, practice makes perfect, in this world of instant gratification..
I bought this for doing/creating my electronic signatures for work documents while working from home. But my 8 yo seems to think it's the coolest thing ever. At least it gives him incentive to want to do work on the computer rather than watching stupid YouTube videos, so I said he had to use it for school tasks first. Hallelujah! Not only does he love it, but he's a pro at using this device, practically instantly. (Why isn't it that easy for adults??) Ultimately, I think simply practicing will give folks a different opinion on these. Keep in mind, some people are more patient than others. Those with little patience will likely give this a negative review. But I works better than trying to navigate a mouse to create a signature, that much I can tell you. People expect instant, perfect results these days. Look how many adults have been writing their entire lives, and still have terrible handwriting! It won't give you a perfect signature if you haven't practiced with it. I docked one star for the following reasons... - It only has (3) movement speeds; there a big gap in between the slowest speed and the next one up. I need that happy-medium speed. It takes a little getting used to, which I completely understand, but the learning process was frustrating for me without that happy-medium speed. - The comfort is fine, but not "5 stars Great", so I gave it a 4. I'm sure there's little things that can be done to make it more comfortable to hold, although then the price will go up- which I don't think it should. - The device works, and it's seems stable, but as with any electronic device, I'd also be careful with it. It's made of medium-to-thin plastic. I worry that a few drops (which are bound to happen in my house, with hard floors) the plastic will start shattering. I didn't dock a whole star for this, just considered it during my review. - My opinion, I wouldn't pay more than $10-$13 for this item. I can't yet speak to longevity or full durability, but my review is giving it the benefit of the doubt. If/when it dies, or breaks, I will update my review to reflect that in its score. To be honest, I didn't much read the reviews prior to purchase. These are all over Amazon, and they pretty much all have the same/similar ratings. I just needed something to do quick signatures for electronic docs, and I grabbed this one because it was half a star higher than others.. But none have very good ratings. There a lot be desired in this little device, but I wasn't looking to spend over $20 on something that does what I needed it for. So... Do with that what you will. We're keeping it though.

Works perfect, easy to use, not expensive, durable. Just treat it well and it will last for years.
Just install a aaa battery plug in the dongle and it works. Note there is a sensitivity switch behind the scroll wheel n be 800 1200 or 1600. Also a low voltage light, Since i have a full new battery I do not know where that is it is not pointed out in the instructions. The mouse is very fast at 800 , Also accurate. It is small like a pen or pencil easy to carry. When carrying I would suggest a sandwich bag so none of the parts get lost. Very happy, Worth the price,

Difficult to double-click
It works good and all and probably will take some practice, but when I double click, it moves the cursor and it is seen as a single click, a move and then another click. I found it best to put the cursor where I want, lift the pen and then double click. The other issue is that if I don't use it for a couple seconds, or sometimes as I'm using it, it will stop responding. I then have to turn it off and back on to use it. I only saw this issue in one review so mine may be glitchy. I'd like to contact the seller but see no option anywhere to do that except to leave a review. Also - what in the world is "Sheerness"? How do I rate that? Or is it just N/A and only pertains to clothing? If so, why does it appear when rating a pen-mouse? Should be an easy IfThenElse statement. If not clothing Then don't display Else display something else...

Great for CTS if you don't have a bad thumb
If you can hold a pen and use your thumb fairly well, you can use this! It's not a drawing pen, it's a mouse pen, so the accuracy is tailored for pointing and clicking. The left-click is on the index finger side, right is the thumb, scrolling is the black wheel. I use my index finger with it. I can't use a regular mouse, or a vertical mouse, and I enjoy using this so much, I bought another. Unfortunately I have lost the receiver piece for that one. I hope the seller sees this so I can find out how to replace it. I haven't tried to use the one I already had but I suspect it won't work. I really can't be too critical of this optical pen mouse. It was my favorite input device until a bone spur broke off in my CMC joint in a totally unrelated situation. I still use it on my good days. I do wish the buttons were in slightly different places but for the price, I can't complain. I wish the pointing end was reversible bc it's right hand only using the fingers the same way

JUNK~ & Most Expensive Choice DON'T BUY
DO NOT BUY! I've used nothing but Pen style mice for a couple years now. Wasn't very happy that this was the only one I could get when purchased a new laptop and wanted one to go just with it, other than when it arrived the dongle was black and not yellow. It's more expensive then any other brand. I've had it for 3 months. At first I thought it was just Windows 10, not so, Windows 7 has the same issue. It connects. the first 2 min works great. The next min or two can navigate the mouse just fine, but no longer can click anything. By 5 minutes, optical light is on, but it acts as though it's not. For 2 months as long as I turned it off every time I set it down it would work. That I could deal with as if they get bumped that can be a problem. 2 1/2 months in, and it no longer works.

Great product
I am a teacher and I have an interactive TV in my classroom. This mouse is perfect for manipulating the screen/computer when I am not next to the computer. It also allows me to multitask without leaving what I am doing since the mouse works all throughout my classroom. I would suggest this mouse for any teacher who displays their computer onto a larger screen or tv. It can be a little tricky to use at first, but it gets easier once you are used to using it.

I was quite surprised to find out how very much I like it! It's fun to use
I bought this as a lark, because the price was certainly right. I was quite surprised to find out how very much I like it! It's fun to use, once you get the hang of it, and you can sit in different positions - you can even use it on your arm or your leg - so that your elbows aren't always in the same position facing the computer, which makes a nice change. The stand is a bit flimsy, but it works just fine, and I find the pen itself easy to hold and operate. Just be careful not to lose track of the stand - although if you do, you can stick the pen in a glass or a cup and it will be just fine.
