Little Albatross
Michael Morpurgo is a brilliant children's writer, combining true to life events within a fictional framework. Little Albatross keeps you on the edge of your seat for the survival of both the baby and its parents, and given that a real albatross dies on the end of fishing lines at the rate of about one every 5 minutes, then this is clearly an important topic not to be neglected.Thankfully in the story, all three creatures survive.
