Worked as expected. Great price and our Cisco 2960S accepted without issue. In general, I do believe quality comes at a price. However, someone has to explain to me why a Cisco-branded GBIC sells for over $300 when this is a tenth of the price and works just fine. The same for HDMI cables, but that's for another review and post.

Considerably cheaper than the Dell certified adapters and still work with the Force10's without any issue. If you run into problems, Dell won't support, of course; but I've yet to have a connectivity issue on s4810p's.

For the price and what the name brand ones cost you cannot pass these up. Work great and price is amazing.

Installed on an EnGenius Technologies 48-Port Gigabit PoE+ L2 Managed Switch with 4 Dual-Speed SFP (EGS7252FP) and works like a charm for the backbone connectivity between two of these network switches.

We have used these in many of our Cisco switches and had very good results.

I will say upfront that I am no "techie" but I have a nephew who is brilliant with computer repair and even owns his own business serving most of our local major businesses so he really knows his stuff. I do however have a boatload of old computers that I received when my uncle passed so I handing him these parts and told him to do his magic and get them up and running for me so I could hopefully recover them or at least have some backup computers. This item worked great on a computer and he was able to get it up and running just fine after all this time. These parts really are good quality parts and he said that he was very impressed with them and would consider servicing with this brand when he was out of the parts he has stocked from another brand was gone. This item is much more affordable than another major brand. Je l'ai acheté pour avoir une prise gigabit supplémentaire pour un sf500 small business de Cisco. J'ai Galéré un petit peu pour comprendre que le port sfp est partagé avec un autre port, et que les 2 ne peuvent pas fonçtionner en même temps. Une fois résolue, tout roule comme il faut. Le matériel est solide, le clip est de qualité. Rien à redire.
