OEM? For a decent price
I needed a replacement purge valve solenoid for a 06 F150 5.4 because the old one cracked at a hose barb. I wanted OEM but the dealer wanted about $170. This one looks like true motorcraft, but the box looked like new old stock. Either way, it fixed my issue for about 1/2 the price.

Perfect result from a long run of diagnostics
I was experiencing almost continuous P0171 and P0174 codes with my F150 prior to repacing this VCV. I ran through a couple of MAF sensors, hours of diagnostic time in checking for intake plenum/ manifold and vacuum leaks, More time in measuring & checking PIDS readings, road testing, etc. I am happy that the goat climbs hills like it used to.

Good buy
Good Motorcraft part and easy to install. Got it for a 2004 Ford F150 5.4l engine. I was getting a lean condition warning with a vague code. This didn't fix the problem which turned out to be the fuel pressure regulator which is mounted on the left side fuel rail on this engine.
