ESV Illuminated Scripture Journal: Matthew

Having just one book of the Bible to tackle at a time with just as much room for notes and questions is my new favorite way to read God‘s word. What a great idea!

It’s a great book to read

I love these Bible journals! I used to buy plain black ones (which are good too if that’s your style), but now I get colorful ones. I bought it as a gift for someone who started to learn more about Jesus!

The media could not be loaded. Buy them individually or buy the whole set! Using these for my regular Bible study has been a game changer. The space to write down notes from commentaries or sermons in a beautiful journal, that can be displayed or just tucked back to have for a future instance. LOVE THESE!

Great glad I bought it

I have all the gospels and love to journal art as I am reading.

It’s a bit smaller than I thought it was going to be. (I added a highlighter in some pics so you can assess size) I was think paper sized but it’s a little more than half a sheet of paper. Not too big and not too small. I wish the set wasn’t so expensive and the outer cover was more clear with the name of the book and allowed you to write a year or something on it.Pros: It looks just like the pictures. . The pages are a bit see through but not like the paper thin bible pages.Cons: The dotted lines are so faint though that you can’t actually see them. If you want this for creative art then you should be fine. If you want it for journaling and study notes it’s not a plus.

I bought this for my son who is learning to read because they are reading through Matthew at school. It has a page of Scripture and then a blank page for reflection, journaling, etc. My son can draw a picture about what we read or even write or copy some words. It's great for any age but I really like that my son doesn't have to be able to read or write to reflect on what I read to him.

Only complaint is the box was too big so the edges were fairly damaged. But still very nice and usable

Estou encantada com a proposta e com essa coleção! Comprei com o intuito de estudar com mais diligência e amor e estou super empolgada, pois a qualidade do material é excelente, desde a tradução que é mais simplificada, mas não perde o valor, até a gramatura do papel, que não deixa vazar marcador do outro lado. As folhas são amareladas e possuem pontilhados bem sutis, na parte em branco, que auxiliam nas anotações ou desenhos. Em aglumas páginas há artes em desenho ou caligrafi, tudo em dourado e até a própria ilustração da capa é explicada numa luva que acompanha a quarta capa do livro, muito capricho nesse projeto, vale cada centavo.

Beautiful study edition. Every second page is empty for note taking. It's sad that these beautiful bible texts are only available in English.

Beautiful illuminated cover, easy to read single column text. The paper is good quality and strong enough to journal on without bleed through or ghosting. I really enjoy praying the scripture, page by page while journaling parts of the text on the opposite page. Would make a beautiful gift.

So beautiful! I love that there is space to journal and creatively colour artwork. Lovely to work with alongside a Bible study and record thoughts.
