This rack just - like the vehicle - is rugged, versatile, and very cool; the outside frame is made of 1 inch tubing and the flooring with ½ inch cold roll steel tubing. The rack installs on factory mounts, and includes a cutout for the factory satellite radio antenna.

This a very solid rack that has been proven to be very capable for my usage.Install was very straight forward with no drilling required. Basically remove factory rails and mount the rack, line everything up and tighten the bolts. I was worried about wind noise, but I am happy to report that there is none. Even with the sunroof open, the change is negligible.I currently mount my spare tire, axe/shovel, Maxtrax set, and 2 Pelican cases on the rack when heading out. Eventually will be adding Jerry can mounts to carry water and fuel. I am certainly happy with the decision I made going with Bajarack and have no problem recommending them to others.PS: Main reason why I mounted the tire on top is so that you do not have to remove all of your gear to get to your tire if needed on the trail! Learned the hard way!
