Can you use these for RX?

The lenses Maui Jim uses for Rx on the black coral mode are polycarbonate and not ultra thin glass. They do have other models where the Rx is in their ultra thin glass. Maui Jim can give you a list of which models come with the Rx glass option. They sent it to me on IG a few years ago. I wouldn’t waste my money on the plastic Rx lenses. They scratch. I ended up just ordering glass non Rx replacement lenses for my black coral glasses.

Black corral do I get a choice of Glass Lens or plastic lens

Aloha! In non-prescription, each authentic pair of Maui Jim sunglasses are only available in one lens material. The Black Coral style features our SuperThin Glass lens material. This lens material provides the best optics available and is 20% thinner and lighter than standard laminated glass. It offers the best scratch and solvent resistance lenses for long-wearing comfort. Listed as medium on mj site, medium doesn't fit me usually. i have a very wide head, will this fit?

My husband has a wider head...and they fit him well. You would have to try them, of course, to see for yourself.
