ASICS Women's Gel-Venture 6 MX Running Shoes

Best shoes ever, I’ve bought several pairs

My wifes favorite, all new Nurses fall for the 'Nursing Shoe' and yea, they're cute, but within' weeks they're complaining about the pain, and then they're back in walking shoes.She walks 3-5 miles over 12 hours during a shift. With this level of abuse a pair lasts about 6 mos as comfortable work shoes before we replace them, then they last another 6 mos to a year as gardening/lawn shoes.We toss them because they're usually stiff/stained by lawn clippings.. not because they fall apart.No complaints at all.

Thank goodness I went out of my comfort zone and ordered these wonderful shoes!!! I absolutely love them.A little about my story, I have plantar fasciitis and I was first told by doctors about two years ago. It is terrible and the pain in my feet is constant. I started getting shoe inserts so my feet would get better, but that was complicated because then the top of my foot hurt because the insert made less room in there for my feet. They worked as far as taking my pain away from the plantar fasciitis but it wasn't an ideal situation. About 2 weeks ago my feet were in so much pain I needed to figure something better out. I did tons of research, read a lot of blogs and lots of reviews which helped me order these shoes!!! First off the delivery was fast! I picked up the package off my porch and I did not think it was my shoes because the package was way to light. I even handed it to my 14 year old daughter to feel because I didn't think it was my shoes. Well sure enough it was:) so first impression they are super light weight, second they look even better in person, and third as soon as I put my foot in the shoe and took my first step it literally made me sooooo happy. No pain at all. My feet hurt without shoes on. Walking around my house I could tell right away that I made the best decision to get these:)They are super affordable, the colors are amazing, and the comfort for me is spot on. I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much!!!

Shoe was nice and comfortable

I’m in love with these shoes! I pretty much never write reviews but I have to share how amazing these shoes are! I had ordered a different brand & was extremely disappointed with them so I ordered these. I was so excited waiting for them to arrive but a little apprehensive since the other ones had been so bad & these was my first time ordered shoes online. I got them from the delivery woman & practically ripped open the box & threw them on my feet. My feet were so happy. I jumped up & down & ran around in circles. They have great support & cushioning in the heel. I couldn’t wait to try them on a walk/run. The next morning I threw them on & thought I’d go for a short bit just to try them out. My calfs were tight & sore which worried me but I kept going & my legs got used to them. It was one of the best walks/runs I’d been on. I went off into the woods to test the traction & off path with no problems, I even went down a wet muddy embankment to my favorite creek with no issues what so ever. I actually look forward to going for runs now!! I have fat feet but these fit well. I do wear thinner socks but I think they’d also be fine with thicker ones. My toes have plenty of room. Added bonus they’re even cuter than the pictures!!!

The shoe fit perfectly and made my running experience much better! I was never able to really run because when I was younger I had a leg deformities that caused me a lot of pain when I ran. After my leg correction, I still couldn't go for a walk for too long before my feet would start to hurt. I really wanted become a runner last year while I was attempting to lose weight and I wanted to try running to improve my endurance and cardio. After looking for good running shoe brands for beginners, discussing options with experienced Runners, and checking out the reviews, I decided to give them a try. My first run was an incredible experience! My feet didn't hurt at all after the run! It was like I was gliding on air the whole time until I realized that because my feet hurt so much, I never felt the impact of running on the rest of my body. I had no idea that your calves, thighs and even the core ached from running because my feet would hurt so bad. I've been using these bad boys for a year and it really made a difference in my life and I couldn't be more grateful!

I've been running off and on for a few years, and an avid exerciser for the last seven years. I began wearing Asics upon a coworker recommending them to me and have always come back to this brand. This spring I decided to become more serious about my running and training. I bought a new pair of gel kayanos, and with my 25-35 miles of running per week they lost their tread in a few months. Frantic for something decent and reasonably priced to finish out the season, I came across these shoes. I wasn't expecting much given the cost, but after my 10 mile trail run yesterday I was blown away by the quality! I had skimmed the reviews prior to purchasing, and noticed some folks indicating that these were possible knockoffs repackaged and made to look like the real deal. I can assure you that they are the real deal! I definitely would know after ten plus pairs of the same brand if they were anything but, and they were genuine Asics. I hardly ever write reviews, but I had to after my experience yesterday and how comfortable they are. They sure beat the awful shin splints and foot pain I experienced in my worn out pair. If you're in the fence, I'd advise you to go for it!

I’ve always liked Asics brand shoes. This is my second pair of this particular shoe. They are not as comfortable as they used to be. They are stiff. This particular shoe does have a wider width than the standard ASICS, but apparently it is not wide enough. I have to wear a thinner sock. Also the shoe strings were on the short side, which makes it difficult to tie correctly. By the end of the day, my feet are hurting. I will look for a different level of shoe in ASICS.
