English instructions are nearly useless. Properly translated instructions needed !
While the unit appears to have a nice function set, the English instructions are mostly gibberish. The two buttons on the faceplate are not named and no detailed button sequence is provided to get from one setting or function to another. I have figured out how to access settings and modes by trial and error.PLEASE provide properly translated instructions IN ENGLISH ! That would make the difference between a 3-star product and a 5-star product.Note: I have raised my rating from 2 stars to 3 stars after rereading the instructions several times and spending more trial-and-error button-pushing time.Thank you.

it does charge my phone

I bought this product, because i have to survive in the desert for a month. this solar controller works for me. it can turn solar power into a DC power to charge my phone. all i want is to DIY a solar system to charge my phone. As you can see, this controller works. it has a big slot on the bottom, that can fit gauge 10 wire. Gauge 10 wire is good for amp larger than 30. So, i bought this product because i just want to connect to my solar panel to charge my phone. and, later on, maybe i can use it somewhere else.Pros: work instantly, easy to install, USB capability, large amp capability.Cons: little bit big

Maybe would be good with better instructions
Maybe would be good with better instructions.Difficult to setup and operate.Only 1 star because unable to setup without good instructions and also because unit stopped working 1 month after installing.

Replaced by a mppt nothing wrong with this one it's great for low. amp.

work's well
No problems with this device. The bottom connectors are a bit tricky. The screw pushes the wire holder back so that the space for the wire is closest to the front of the device. The screws do not screw down on the wire, but bring the wire to the connection. The DC Load side is for a night light, not a load dump upon full charge. At full charge, the light blinks, my gauges still show a charge going to the batteries. It is always 300 milliamps or so
