Yaheetech Adjustable Drafting Table & Stool, Tilting Glass Art Desk, Black

I’ve got an artist as a daughter. She’s going to be twelve. She’s really good, and we wanted to give her a drafting table for her art. This one is really good. I put it together by myself in about 45 minutes. There were only two screws that gave me trouble. But, it wasn’t too bad. I was able to make it all work. The materials seem real decent, and the instructions are OK if you pay attention to the drawing and the order of installation that they give you. like with many things coming from China, the directions could be better. However, I got this together by myself and really didn’t have any trouble. It looks great, and I like that we can put a light behind it for her to also do tracing. However, I think she’s going to get a lot of use out of this. I would also use it and I am 47 years old. I think it’s pretty good for the money. I’m not real sure thst anything else more expensive would be any better. So, I’m pretty pleased with it.

I just got this drafting table and it is awesome. It is very well designed, sturdy and looks great. Assembly is an exercise of patience. Many pieces, but it comes with a well thought-out instructions booklet. If you take your time and pay careful attention, you will end up with a great product. You will notice that the craftmanship is very good. It provides almost anything I may want for my art work. I can adjust height and angles as I please. It comes with a stool, which is very good as well, but I prefer to use a chair that I also bought through Amazon Basics (very good chair by the way). I had to solve an issue through customer service and they were very responsive. The issue was completely resolved to my satisfaction. The table is heavy and the package should be handled by two people as indicated outside of the box. So I suspect that not doing so could be the reason why some reviewers have found blemishes on their tables. I highly recommend this table.

Stool was a little difficult to assemble. Took some wrestling to line the bolt holes up. The desk assembled really easy though. I found the directions to be very clear. The desk is sturdy and the way the glass attaches is very secure.

Im giving it 4 stars because that stools was PMO! I scratched up the leg of the stool trying to force the circle piece in between the legs. Then had to yank and pull to get the holes to line up on the stool. That was definitely the most annoying part of assembly. Other than that, everything was pretty straight forward. It was actually recieved 2 days early. Box wasn’t too beat up. All parts were accounted for. It took me about 2-3 hrs. It would have been alot faster had I let my wife help me the next day as we planned. I was too anxious and did it by myself and my poor knees and back are paying for it. I do however thinks its odd that for the slid out part for the side, its only a screw with no back stopping it from running into the middle part that lifts the table. Pretty sure if moving it, it could easily get lost. It wasn’t hard to put together, just time consuming. But the directions are clear, the screws needed are numbered. They should include that you will need a screw driver. It’s sturdy, doesn’t feel like cheap junk. I wouldnt recommend tightening everything at the end because honestly I tightened it as I went and never needed to go back and un tighten anything. I would 100% recommend this product!

Birthday present for my artistic 15 year old & she loves it!!! My husband & 1 son put it together quickly. It’s easy for her to raise & lower, she loves the storage baskets &, of course, the glass top is a perfect drawing surface (she added a mat to go under her computer, that was extra). It also has a pull out side table to hold her drawing tablets. This was a win, win & she’s been drawing on it (instead of laying on her white carpet-ugh) since she got it! If you have a budding artist, get it!! For my daughter, who is very hard on things, this seems to be really sturdy! I haven’t heard her bang the top lowering it (my fear) & the stool seems nice & sturdy too. Trust me, if it wasn’t study, she’d have bent the legs immediately!!

It’s the perfect desk for painting. The two long drawers hold all of my many brushes and other tools.

* First off, Yaheetech was absolutely amazing sending out not one, but two replacement parts within a week and I greatly appreciate the effort they made. This drafting table was the perfect compact glass top table I have been looking for. Primarily because of it's compact size that can fit between my two other desks; Although, I did have to inevitably remove the tray to fit it in there. It's sturdy with a mat black finish, and I had no trouble assembling it once I had all the pieces. The actuating arm seems to bear the weight when I lean down on it. The stool included holds my weight at 210 lbs, and it's comfortable enough. The few things I would have liked to see while constructing the desk is as follows: Better retaining pin system for the trays. Move the actuating arm up onto of the slide railing so I can move the little desk portion all the way in. Finally, the guide rail on the front of the desk is slightly flimsy due to only being attached by two screws. With one more screw to tie the guide rail in it would be solid. I am quite happy with the desk and the level of support Yaheetech provided.
