The test liquid seems to be an accurate and easy way to determine mastitis in my cow or goats.

For those wanting to make smaller batches to test say one cow, this is what I did: There are 3,785.411 grams of water in a gallon There are 390 grams of this solution in this container It says to add the entire contents of the container to one gallon of water That means the mix rate is 0.103 grams of this solution for every one gram of water I weighed a small 500ml water bottle while it was empty. It weighed 9 grams. I added 309 grams of water to it. It then weighed 318 grams. To that I added 31.827 grams of this solution so it weighed 349.827 grams. I did this on a small digital food scale that has different unit settings one of which is grams. You can of course use whatever amount you want up to one gallon of water but the rate at which you add this stuff is 0.103 grams of this solution for every 1 gram of water according to their listed mixture per gallon that is what it breaks down to.

We have used this product to test the milk from each quarter of each cow since 2004 in our licensed raw milk dairy (2004-Aug. 2016). The test is inexpensive, VERY accurate, and easy to use. I believe I remember somewhere in the literature or from one of the labs I have spoken with in times past, saying that this test will show a reaction 9 days prior to a clinical sign. This means if you test every 7 days you have a much higher probability of very clean milk. I recommend this product highly.

Didn’t come with necessary measuring cup or mixer. Couldn’t use the product.
