Confer Plastics Curve CCX-AG Drop in Above Ground Pool Step with Grey Treads - Base Step

Loving these steps, width of the steps is perfect. The feet were a little hard to get on, but after I figured out to tilt them a little it worked. The weighted sides do hold more than 20 pds of sand, but they absolutely don’t float! Nicer than the ones that came with our pool, they didn’t last 2 years. Time will tell, my grandkids will put them to the test but very happy with the price and quality. Assembly was very easy!

Very sturdy steps. Easy for elder mother-in-law to get in and out of the pool. Only improvement that I could recommend is that the rails extended further past the top step.

Definitely a five star review. Stairs were easy to assemble and fit the above ground pool perfectly. We needed no sand or weights to weigh it down. Filling it with water worked perfectly no floating stairs here. The accessibility score is high able to get in and out without issue would highly recommend.

Product was well designed and easy to put together (my 15 year old put it together). Instructions were well written and easy to follow. There are 4 pads that act as feet to keep from scratching the liner in the bottom - these were a little tricky to install. I even attached (4) 6"x6"x½" pads (cut from an old yoga mat) with industrial Velcro tape to give it a softer cushion on the liner (I've repaired several holes in my longer and know how easy they are to cut). I used more sand than the instructions called for simply because our old steps had a tendency to move... But you would probably be safe following the directions. Play sand works well just make sure it's dry so it will flow easily. I used a medium sized funnel with no issues as the holes were large enough for a good sized funnel. However, the caps seemed a little inadequate but once the steps are installed, they stay in place fine. The instructions were a little unclear on whether the steps were actually screwed down with the supplied stainless steel screws (good quality screws). I ended up only screwing the top step at the 4 apparent locations. Each step had 4 indentations that appeared to be for screw points but with the quality and fit of the interlocking pieces, I did not see any benefit nor extra strength in doing so. I built our deck to be even with the highest point of the pool sides, so attaching the steps to the deck was simple. If your pool sides are higher than your deck, you will need to add a block or step (even with or slightly above the pool sides) to attach the two arms. These are also attached with the supplied stainless steel screws. I used 4 or 5 in each arm to fasten to the desk floor. After a couple months of use, I'm extremely pleased with their performance, look, and durability.

Used with above ground rectangular 12x24 Intex pool which has curved sides. The angle at the back of the ladder worked well with the curved sides. This is a sturdy set of steps once assembled and placed in your pool. It was simple enough to put together using the QR code and following along with the video, but it was difficult for me and my partner to put in the pool by ourselves before the weights were attached. I recommend a few people during placement.

Good quality. Very sturdy. Perfect fit. One thing I don’t understand is folks saying how hard the assembly was. Total assembly time was 30 minutes. Putting sand in the side panels took a little longer but just help it along with water and it was a breeze. Added a couple 25lb pool stair sand bags to the sides and the steps are settled in just fine.

Really nice and sturdy steps. Putting the feet pads on this was atrocious! I gave up many, many times and walked away. Put soap on pegs and hammered feet with rubber mallet. Finally, got them on. Also, I would suggest filter sand or very, very dry sand. I bought play sand to put in the base. A tedious chore. But, after completing the sand and foot pad installation, it was worth it. I contacted the help number that is on the instructions. A very nice gentleman talked me through my issue. Excellent customer service!also bought the heavy duty pool ladder weights. We put a 35 lb weight in each instead of using sand. We also used bungees to keep ladder stable next to side wall. Very sturdy.

Sturdy construction and easy assembly. The handrails are somewhat shaky but seem to work well enough. There is no easy way, that I know of, to remove the stairs From the pool for winterizing. I would recommend purchasing the pad that cushions the bottom of the stairs from friction on the pool liner. I used self tapping screws to anchor the stairs to the above ground deck. I recommend pre-drilling and stainless steel bolts, lock nuts and washers.

I was apprehensive to order these pool stairs since I've never seen them in person but our old used and wobbly pool stairs were in desperate need of an upgrade. These were seriously so easy to install (with two people), and as others mentioned needed more sand than the recommended amount in order for them to stop floating but they are seriously amazing! They are so sturdy, nice and wide, the treads are so comfortable, and the handrails are really robust. These are a serious improvement and we are so happy. Wish we didn't wait so long honestly. Delivery took longer than we wanted and we worried they weren't showing up but then arrived. Only complaint is that we didn't get the dark grey colour we hoped we were. Seller, update your photo.

These are the absolute best purchase, we have had them for 2 seasons and as long as you store them in a shed during winter, I believe they will last many years. Straight forward assembly.

The size & lightness of the material. However the handles are not very stable.
