Big Green Egg XL must have!
I use this in my Big Green Egg XL. It fits perfectly. I can use it directly sitting on the fire ring or sitting on top of the SS grill grate. Perfect for smash burgers, shrimp, and anything you need a flat surface for cooking. Cleans up easily.

Another great product from Kamado Joe! I’ve recently seared some scallops to perfection with this reversible cast iron grate with perfect results! I’d always recommend any Kamado Joe product for sure! Best damn grill money can buy!!!

Absolutely love this thing!
This thing is amazing! KJ has some awesome stuff and that's no secret. I purchased this within a few weeks of getting my Big Joe and almost immediately used it to grill up some onions, peppers, and tortillas. The chicken was done on the open grate and within about 15 minutes, I had some of the best fajitas I have ever eaten! Seriously, my wife questioned me spending the money on such a big and expensive grill when we already had a gas grill. She is now begging me to make more fajitas and hasn't questioned the cost since that day. If you haven't tried it with the KJ brand charcoal as well, it is worth the extra money. ALSO - keep an eye on Amazon for the open box/used boxes of this. It saved me about $20 and lets face it - if somebody opened the box and sent it back, more likely than not they just ordered the wrong size. It's cast iron and won't go bad in our lifetime. I'm just getting back from being out of town but will post on how steaks come out on this thing when I try it!
