Complete with a master unit, four indoor intercom stations, one outdoor station, and a door speaker (doorbell station), this new-wire intercom and music distribution package introduces convenient audio and intercom communication to your entire residence. The Master Station serves as the main hub of your system. All five included remote stations (both indoor and outdoor) and the door speaker connect to the master station using Cat5 wiring. Remote intercom stations have simple pushbuttons that control the system remotely. Each one can be set to intercom only, monitor (listen), radio plus intercom, or off, giving you complete control over the system. The door speaker has just one doorbell button and installs near your front door. The included three-note chime module provides a selection of door chime sounds you can play through the intercom system. When a visitor presses the doorbell button, a door chime up to three notes long sounds through every remote station in your system. The Master Station has two music source inputs, which allow you to connect any external music source, such as an iPod. It also has a built-in AM/FM radio with eight AM station presets and eight FM station presets. A comprehensive menu of settings is easily accessible via the station's backlit liquid crystal display, which shows the volume setting, audio source, operation mode, radio frequency, and time. You can set the system to automatically turn music on/off at specific times, so you can kick off the day or wind down at night with automated music for your convenience. Dated- I'd say keep looking!
While it does work, if you're only seeking a radio I suppose this is OK. We chose this because a contractor recommended this system to update our current (but very old) system. After this was installed we realized that even though it mentions AUX, there is no actual input area to plug up an auxiliary cord so you can listen to music from your phone or other music device. It has to be hard wired into the back and then another plate added for the input/hole. Pretty old school and the rep from NuTone acted shocked that I even asked about Bluetooth. Lol. Oh well.

Very limited in functions.
I was told by my contractor to buy it. After it was installed I realized that the system is very limited in factions.The only good thing is that I do not live in this house and do not use it (house is rented out). Try other systems with more functionality.
