Hold my beer: The item(s) were delivered in the appropriate time period - Wrapped in paper, which was wrapped in bubble wrap, which was stuffed into a well tapped box, which was then put into a package/bag. Fitting/seal was established without leaks, using Keck clips. Glass was clear and clean. Thermometer adapter point was threaded very well and secured standard, plastic(?) thermal adapter. I will be considering ordering a case of these (I break things, often). I don't find that any of my other glass will have any problem being married to these pieces (Can't be made in America with those ethics). I don't do reviews, but when I do.... its because I'm bored or I bought something. Tikun Olam [Heal the World]

El termómetro se ajusta bien

After doing some vacuum distillation I realized these joints don't fit my other 24/40 glass perfectly. They are fine for some stuff, but the fit is not very good for vacuum distillation (1 star off for that). The gasket that seals around the thermometer fit a glass thermometer I had. I had to make my own gasket to fit a smaller diameter thermocouple, but that is easily done (I slit a piece of large diameter vinyl tubing and cutting a gasket out of that).

The Qwork glass thermometer adapters seem functional. There are a weird surface bump like a crinkle in tinfoil in one place on both adapters. The one has a hair or crack in the inside of the grinded area. It can be felt with your finger. The top cap is tough and threads nicely. There is a small plastic reducer washer that can be used or drilled or tossed out. The underside of the ground area has raised rings from being on crappy equipment. They show through making the grinding look worse than it is. The upside, cheap price. They have issues but are far from the heat and will likely survive. They also arrived quickly. They are made in china but distributed from the USA. Laboy is higher quality, higher price, but likely will get to you in 2 or 3 months. Laboy gets lost in china, broken from american customs, and with no support available causes alot of wondering. I had to return 2 of 3 purchases for another few months of waiting. 1 was lost. My other Qwork purchase was oil water separator that had defects. It was returned and i received a better one quickly. FAST , CHEAP , LOW QUALITY but FUNCTIONAL! 2023
