I’ve had to use eye patches on and off for nearly 20 years due to an eye injury, so I tend to keep a few on hand. These are easily some of the most comfortable I’ve ever worn. They’re a bit different from the typical rigid, cupped style—this patch is made from a soft, flexible foam that sits gently against the skin. For my needs, which are simply to cover the eye and block out light and vision, this design is far more pleasant to wear. They’re not meant to protect the eye from impact, but for comfort and light shielding, they’re excellent. The patch has the standard adjustable 1/4‑inch strap attached to the foam eyepiece. The foam itself is soft and malleable rather than stiff, and there’s a small indentation on the inside to give your eyelashes room so they don’t brush uncomfortably. Another big plus: because the patch is flatter and softer than the usual “cup” style, it works really well under glasses. I also notice that my eye sweats less with this foam design, which makes a surprising difference during longer wear. Overall, these are great little patches if your goal is comfort, light blocking, and general coverage. If you need something that can withstand a bump or hit, this isn’t the right style—but for everyday wear, they’re wonderfully soft, breathable, and easy to forget you’re even wearing.

These adjustable eye patches are simple, padded, and comfortable, which makes a big difference when a child has to wear one for a set amount of time every day. My daughter has to patch for two hours a day and she cannot tolerate adhesive patches at all, so finding an alternative that does not irritate her skin was important. These adjust to different head sizes easily and stay in place without feeling tight or uncomfortable. The patch is a good size and covers her eye socket fully without being overly large or awkward on her face. It does not feel heavy and does not pull or sit unevenly, which helps her forget about it once it is on. The padding is soft enough that she does not complain about pressure around her eye, and she is much more willing to keep this on compared to adhesive options. I really like that two patches are included. We keep one in each household so she always has one available wherever she is, which makes sticking to her routine much easier. The design works for any age, and she actually thinks it is fun to wear because she pretends she is a pirate. Turning something that is normally frustrating into something playful has made a huge difference for us. This patch has made what is usually a difficult daily routine feel less stressful and more manageable. Getting a young child to consistently wear an eye patch is not easy, and this has helped turn something she resisted into something she is more willing to do without a fight.

These eye patches are okay for the price, but they do feel a bit flimsy & it was tough to get a snug & comfortable fit. I'm not sure if they'll be durable enough for long-term use but I'm hoping we'll be able to get some use out of them as we work to strengthen my child's other eye.

Comfortable Eye Patch ! Super great price for something you have to buy due to injury or infection~ Very soft, stretchy ribbed elastic has bouncy recovery, not limp. This Eye Patch has an adjustable elastic band for a comfortable fit. The elastic band does NOT slide down yet doesn't feel tight as you are wearing it. The band holds the patch in place well without adding pressure to your injured eye. This soft foam patch is smooth and extremely lightweight. It is a bit satin-y and does won't 'catch' on your eyelashes. The shape is slightly bowed over the eye area so there is room for a bandage or medication and will accommodate swelling as well. Black is of course, a great Pirate color for an eye patch :) This one is the perfect size with just enough coverage. You get two eye patches for less than $4 ! This is a good price for a quality product.

This eye patch set is reasonably priced. It is large enough to sufficiently cover the eye. It is a uniform color. However, unlike the pictures they used in the listing, elastic is not solid all the way across the forehead. Instead of including patches specifically designed for either eye, they decided to go with "universal design." That is not necessarily a good thing. Both of these patches have a buckle on the right side of the front of the patch. This means that if you are patching your left eye, the buckle is going to be on your forehead. I think they really should have been more thoughtful about how this was put together, so that they included a patch designed for a right eye and a patch designed for a left eye. If they had done that, then they could have sewn the elastic angled in a way that it align further up on the forehead. Right now, the alignment is right at that eyebrow level. I find that is a more sensitive area of skin than the middle of my forehead. The material of the patch itself is soft and silky, and there is a bit of padding. The elastic is sewn to the patch on the inside of the patch, which means that there will be some rubbing along the sides of your eye where the elastic touches your skin. Overall, it's a reasonable value. I think that the value could be increased if they would take my design comments under consideration.
