I am a huge fan of dockcase products as I have several of their other products. Before this, I was actually using a portable dockcase dock with the steam deck in one room and the official steam dock in another. This dock was impressive, but not without some quirks. The Amazing: DockCase replicated the look and feel of SteamOS within their touch panel controls. It almost feels seamless like it is a part of the steam deck. I am sure they put a lot of effort into doing this. The dock is thick with a wider base, which I think others could learn from, as I don't see my cat knocking it over any time soon like he does with my steam dock and almost weekly with my switch. There is also ample space for any case you might have on the steam deck or for bigger thicker devices. The grippy rubber inside the dock that the steam deck sits on holds it in place FIRMLY - my deck doesn't slide at all... The whole thing looks amazing - its eye catching, certainly a conversation piece, and the touch controls are nice. The Good: A lot of settings can be set within the dock and things like power delivery are displayed clearly. You can tweak power delivery to peripherals to support ones that are hungrier, like flight sticks, larger keyboards, etc. Built-in SPDIF audio out for audiophiles out there with amplifiers. Removable USB C Cable in case a cat chews through it *cough* Expandable storage with a dedicated pcie ssd slot Stuff to Note: The fan isn't completely silent, but they provide basic linear fan controls. The auto fan tends to be aggressive, and I wish they had fan curves. Would have been nice if they put more USB A ports in for additional peripherals as there are only two type A ports - If I used controllers that have dongles, a mouse, and a kb, I won't have enough ports. When I hooked it into my Receiver over HDMI, I had to turn the audio OFF in the dock settings for audio to pass through which was a bit odd. All the other dock case products I own used premium materials like aluminum, but this dock mad made with mostly molded plastic. I understand they tried to apply a gamer aesthetic, but their implementation, including the LED's could have been done more svelte and in-line with their normal design philosophy. Price Point: If they had found some way to expand on their capabilities such as integration with the deck's performance monitor directly I think it would have been perfect. It was definitely cool and eye catching. And there is nothing out there like it. I might recommend it as a swaggy cool option at ~$100 or less, which is half of what it is listed for currently. Their own line of portable explorer docks use built in displays, support pass through charging, and have as many or more ports (I have been using one with a 3d printed stand with my deck for the past year).

I've been putting this DOCKCASE & CHIZHA Docking Station through its paces with my growing collection of handheld gaming PCs, and it has quickly become my go-to dock. It handles everything I throw at it with zero issues and some really smart features that set it apart from basic hubs. Tested compatibility so far: Steam Deck (including OLED) ROG Ally X Original ASUS ROG Ally ASUS ROG Flow Z13 Lenovo Legion Go 2 OneXPlayer F1 Pro and even my iPad Pro M4 Power delivery is rock-solid at 100W, video output is crisp at 4K@120Hz over HDMI, and I get full use of the USB-C 3.2, USB-A ports, Gigabit Ethernet, and optical audio without any dropouts or driver headaches. Plug-and-play perfection across every device. The built-in M.2 NVMe SSD slot is fantastic. I've used it successfully with 2230, 2242, and 2280 SSDs and consistently get great high speeds for game storage and file transfers. Being able to hot-swap storage across all my handhelds without cracking them open is incredibly convenient. I have an external Sandisk SSD plugged in and a M.2 SSD in the internal slot of the Chizha Mount Dock and both drives were fully recognized and fast on all the devices I tested including the iPad Pro which pleasantly surprised me. What really makes this dock special is the active cooling system. The built-in fan with dual airflow channels does an excellent job keeping the SSD, USB ports, and power delivery ports cool even during long, demanding gaming sessions. No more worrying about thermal throttling on the expansion components. Even better, the touchscreen display is genuinely useful. It gives real-time information at a glance: SSD drive speeds, power input and output, output resolution and refresh rate, fan speed, and port activity. It's intuitive to navigate and adds a premium, high-tech feel to the whole setup. Build quality is solid with a stable adjustable stand and anti-slip padding. The dock stays compact enough for travel yet feels desk-ready. If you own multiple handhelds or just want one future-proof dock loaded with smart features, this is absolutely worth it. I hadn't used my Steam Deck in some time, this easily let me connect it to a TV. Easy to configure, plug in the cables and go. It works well with the 45W Steam Deck charger, but my 100w USB PD charger worked equally. When the Deck is plugged into the dock, the HDMI output starts within a few seconds. The dock's SSD and USB storage is immediately available, as was my keyboard, mouse, and the wired LAN Ethernet. I had an m.2 NVME SSD that wasn't being used. Installing it in the dock took about 2 minutes using the included screwdriver. The dock has a fan that is silent under 50%, which seems more than enough to keep it and the dock cool. Though even at 100%, it's hardly audible across a room. The dock shows stats and temperatures. It can show the resolution of the HDMI output and the type of monitor. It can show the SMART diagnostics of any installed SSD, as well as the size, speed, and temperature of all the dock components. The LED lights are adjustable and can be turned on and off in the settings. If no lighting is wanted, pressing the dock's button turns on and off the lighting and the dock screen. Pros: It just works. After the initial setup, plugging in the single USB cable quickly turns the Steam Deck into a living room console. All the video, storage, and peripherals that are installed into the dock are immediately connected. Cons: When in the settings sub-menus, the buttons on the dock can be quite small and difficult to select, but I found that they don't have to be individually selected. Dragging the entire screen will scroll through the options. And while it's not immediately obvious, the main screen can be returned to at any time by swiping right. And when on the main screen, swiping left and right shows large icons of all the major settings. Good value and expandability. Was also looking at the Valve dock, but this offers many more features.

Awesome Dock! Not just for steam Deck! I tried several different devices and they worked great with this dock! every device was compatible! It even worked with my Macbook! This is the one to get if you need a mobile dock with versatility in that you can use it with a laptop and/or a Steam Deck. If you have multiple Laptops or gaming devices that you want to connect to A TV or projector for entertainment or Presentations. With the ability to add an SSD you can store important documents or even movies, music and games on the dock and have them ready for what ever device you plug into it! Works really well with all my devices (steam deck, rog ally, legion go, switch 1). Having an external nvme option is really cool and saves me having to move stuff between my devices. The dock itself is very premium looking with a very smooth, snappy and easy to use touch screen. Similar to other dockcase devices, there's a wealth of information that is provided to help you assess the setup.

I have tried nearly every dock available for gaming handhelds both PC and Android Emulation setups. This dock isn’t perfect but it’s the closest I’ve found so far. I saw a review of this dock and had to check it out. There is some basic things I’ve found I need in a dock after all that I’ve tried and most docks miss a majority of these or doesn’t do them well. I want in a dock active cooling [that actually moves air away from the handheld], expandable storage, usability on all my handhelds, 4K 60Hz or better [this is 4K120Hz] HDMI to TV and ease of docking. I could go either way with RGB as well as long as there is an option to turn it off as I don’t want the distraction. The Chinzha docking station literally hits every requirement I need. This isn’t the only dock I’ve tried that does this but it has been the most universal and aside from PC Handhelds like the Legion Go 2 it also works on my Android handhelds like the Retroid Pocket 6, Ayn Thor, Odin 3 and Ayaneo Pocket Fit Elite… though you do have to dock the Android handhelds upside down which is kind of silly. PC handhelds allow higher TDP when plugged in and that is no exception here.it allows you to max out the power while keeping your handheld cool and access an extended library with up to 4TB on an NVME you can install directly into the dock itself [there is a port for an external hard drive as well but I want internal to reduce clutter]. Unfortunately this dock isn’t perfect. The fans for the cooling aren’t quiet by any means. Infact they are obnoxiously loud even when just docked and charging. You can fix this however through the touch screen on the front of the dock which allows you to change the fan mode. I’m not sure what auto is supposed to do but it seems to just run randomly, keep in mind it has no way to read the internal temps of your handheld but it seems there may be an external monitor to kick them on once the dock gets warm. As I stated previously when using Android handhelds with the Chizha Dock they do need to be upside down. This isn’t terrible but it’s not good for my OCD. It would also be nice to have Switch 2 support that maybe could be supported through firmware as they still seem to have not nailed down their protocol. All in out of the 2 dozen or so docks I’ve picked up the last couple years this is by far the best dock I’ve used that most closely meets my requirements. I absolutely love everything about it. It’s not a cheap dock and takes up a bigger footprint but save yourself the money on the janky dock search and just get this to start where you’re going to end anyways. Worth every penny.

At first glance you might think this is just some flashy dock, but if you take the time to look carefully, it's SO much more. Between the touchscreen that tells you exactly the wattage of power coming in, the ability to change PD (Power Delivery) protocol, and also to change the RGB... it's literally like getting free FPS. Okay not exactly literally, but it's close, and if you want more value for the money? Well you can add an SSD here to expand your storage. Obviously it's not included but it doesn't have to, 'cause of how feature packed this dock is. So hat other features? Well, it's got an Ethernet Port, a USB-A (2.0) and USB-A 10gbps and USB-C 10gbps port and even an optical port which I'll be honest I'll never use, but it's cool that it's there. So when it comes to function, yeah it's got so many uses you'll probably lose track like I do. Did I mention it comes with a 40gbps USB-4 detachable cable? Yes it does, and the 100W PD will charge basically every mainstream handheld PC out there. Look at the pictures and you'll see it comfortably fits a Legion Go 2, It'll fit the new Onexplayer 3, and even let you sit it up in a portrait mode, which I have to admit looks really nice too. Don't worry, there's no stability sacrificed here when you put it in portrait mode either, it's solid. What's the conclusion? There are a ton of docks that sacrifice form over function or vice versa. This dock? You get both the looks, and the features. Really Not anything to complain about!

Der M.2-Slot lässt sich unkompliziert mit einer eigenen SSD bestücken, die aktive Kühlung entlastet spürbar den internen Lüfter des Geräts, und mit 4K bei 120Hz läuft auch anspruchsvolles Gaming am externen Monitor butterweich. Alle wichtigen Anschlüsse für den Schreibtischbetrieb sind vorhanden, sodass sich das Dock auch als vollwertige Docking-Station eignet. Etwas schade ist, dass kein Netzteil im Lieferumfang enthalten ist, man also ein eigenes ausreichend starkes Ladegerät braucht. Die Touchscreen-Funktionen sind ein Nice-to-haves, aber kein Muss. Insgesamt eine solide Docking Station.

Ich bin von dem DOCKCASE & CHIZHA Dock wirklich restlos begeistert. Schon beim Auspacken merkt man, dass es sich hier nicht um eine einfache Standard-Dockingstation handelt, sondern um ein sehr hochwertiges und durchdachtes Zubehör für Handhelds wie Steam Deck, ROG Ally oder Legion Go. Die Verarbeitung wirkt sehr stabil und wertig. Das Design ist modern, auffällig und gleichzeitig funktional. Der Handheld steht sicher im Dock, nichts wackelt, und alle wichtigen Anschlüsse sind gut erreichbar. Besonders positiv finde ich, dass das Gerät nicht nur optisch etwas hermacht, sondern auch im Alltag echten Mehrwert bietet. Die Anschlussvielfalt ist hervorragend: HDMI, USB-C, USB-A, Ethernet und die Möglichkeit zur Erweiterung mit einer SSD machen das Dock extrem vielseitig. Gerade wenn man seinen Handheld häufiger am Monitor oder TV nutzt, ist das eine enorme Erleichterung. Auch die Ladefunktion funktioniert bei mir zuverlässig, und die Verbindung war direkt problemlos hergestellt. Ein echtes Highlight ist für mich das integrierte Display beziehungsweise die smarte Anzeige. Das wirkt nicht nur futuristisch, sondern macht das Dock auch deutlich hochwertiger als viele andere Modelle. Auch die aktive Kühlung ist ein sehr interessantes Feature, gerade wenn man längere Sessions spielt oder das Gerät stationär nutzt. Im Alltag macht das Dock genau das, was es soll: Es erweitert den Handheld sinnvoll, sieht dabei sehr edel aus und fühlt sich einfach nach Premium-Zubehör an. Für mich ist es deutlich mehr als nur ein einfacher USB-C-Hub. Es ist eine richtige Docking-Lösung für alle, die aus ihrem Handheld mehr herausholen möchten. Natürlich ist der Preis nicht ganz niedrig, aber meiner Meinung nach bekommt man hier auch entsprechend viel geboten. Verarbeitung, Ausstattung, Design und Funktionsumfang passen für mich absolut zusammen. Klare 5 Sterne von mir. Ich würde das Dock jederzeit wieder kaufen und kann es besonders für alle empfehlen, die ihr Steam Deck oder einen anderen Gaming-Handheld regelmäßig stationär nutzen möchten.
