The best lower unit gear oil I have used
I have been boating my whole life, this is by far the best gear oil. I use this in my Johnson 115 even though this is technically made by Mercury. I seem to get less if any water intrusion into my gearcase with this oil. If there is any, the oil emulsifies the water and continues to protect the gears. I have had better luck with this than Pennzoil marine or others. Highly recommend. It is a blue color and easy to drain and fill.

Correct gear lube for my mid-90s Alpha One Gen 2 lower unit
Correct gear lube for my mid-90s Alpha One Gen 2 lower unit. I needed two quarts and a pump. You're supposed to fill them from the bottom to prevent air from getting trapped, then top off the reservoir if you have one.
