It is the real deal! When we were kids, you could get this brand at the A&P. This brought back memories. My brother loved this!

Delicious Christmas treat. Bit pricey, but brings back good memories of the past from purchasing them at A&P stores back in the 1960's. My Mom loved these. Husband says better than his families "Homemade" fruitcakes.

How often do you find a product that is every bit as good as what you remember having as a child? This Jane Parker fruitcake was once sold by A & P grocers and was a holiday tradition enjoyed by our family. The cake that I ordered was wonderfully moist and the pecans, candied cherries and pineapple were abundant. Unlike so many other boughten fruitcakes, it does not contain citron, spices or alcohol. The 1 lb. Cake I ordered didn’t last long; absolutely worth the cost.

Smallest, driest fruit cake ever. Don't waste your $26 on this. I was so disappointed with this tiny 16-oz box.

My mom use to buy Jane Parker fruit cakes when I was a little. They are very hard to find in the stores now. When I saw that Amazon sold them I decided to buy us one. The cake is still good however the size was for a toddler. I just expected it to be a little bigger for what I paid.
