Works as hoped!
Used this as a recommended ingredient in a pain/inflammation pellet mix and it appears to be a useful and effective part of the mix!

Horse eats it !!!
My 21 year old QH has arthritis in his fores. He gets injections 2x yearly, eats a daily joint supplement, but old is gold.. so I followed my veterinarian's suggestion and added Curamax to additionally help with inflamation. I soak all meds on top of EQ Senior to make certain he eats vs. spits out... he eats this right up.. buried under something more yummy, and is moving freely in pasture in winter temps...including some kicking and bucking at liberty when the sun feels good. I have no chrystal ball... but I believe from what I see that this supplement is helping him. My steady old friend won't last forever, but while he is here, I want him to feel as good as possible.

After a good workout I sometimes worry about my horses legs. I feels safe giving this supplement to my horses. Have not seen any issues.

Even the picky horses eat this.
My horses eat this without any hesitation, though I haven't noticed any difference in their way of movement yet. It's from a trusted brand, though, and I haven't used it very long. It seems high quality, so I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt.

It didn't work for our mule
This is not a criticism of this quality product; it’s just a caution. The first ingredient listed is phenylalanine. This is an excellent amino acid supplement and is proven to help with arthritic symptoms. However, phenylalanine is not recommended for equines with insulin resistance, (IR) also called Equine Metabolic Syndrome, sometimes called Type II diabetes of horses. One of the symptoms of this disorder is extreme lameness, laminitis. We fed it to an older mule, who has been under care for IR for many years. The product triggered laminitis within three days.We took him off the product, and he slowly began to improve.I am sorry to not be able to give a more positive review!
