Favorite brand and best mouse I've had
Customizable Weight: This is the best feature by far. You can pop off the sides and add or remove the 4g weights to get the balance exactly where you want it. I personally like it a bit heavier for stability, and this lets me dial that in perfectly. TrueMove3+ Dual Sensor: The lift-off detection is a lifesaver. I play with a lower DPI and lift my mouse a lot; this sensor stops the cursor from jumping the second the mouse leaves the pad. Fast Charging: You can get about 10 hours of play from just a 15-minute charge. It's great for those times I forget to plug it in overnight. Build Quality: It feels incredibly solid in the hand. The silicone grips on the sides are comfortable for long sessions, and the RGB lighting is probably the best-looking implementation on any mouse I’ve owned.

(Careful before buy)
This gaming mouse is my all time favorite. Especially with FPS games and needing consistency. Battery life is good and easy to charge. Feels good, with simplified thumb buttons and a good feeling right and left click. Scroll wheel has ridges so it is easy to turn only the amount you need for inventory games. BEWARNED! This mouse is amazing and I will aways use it but it has a terrible shelf life. Any where from 3 weeks to 9 months WILL BREAK WITHIN A YEAR. If used daily for fps. It is the same problem, the right click button will break, meaning the right click will stay in the down position and the click will not work. I have bought about half a dozen replacements in 3 to 4 years due to the right click breaking. Great mouse, great performance, easy software, terrible shelf life. Take the good with the bad, and consider before buying.

Updated Review
[Update] Wow do i feel like an idiot.. My original review i gave this 3 stars because i thought the mouse was deffective and not charging... Turns out i hadn't plugged in the usb all the way 😂 After a month of using this i really do like the mouse. It is a bit pricey but it has great battery life, great grip, and cool lighting features. The buttons now I've gotton used too i think when i wrote my original review i was just letting my OCD get the better of me. If u like wireless opt for this mouse. If u dont mind having the cable at all times then the wired version is for you and its a bit cheaper. I got to say that i am a little disappointed in this mouse considering how expensive it is. First off my mouse was defective out of the box. It was not working when plugged in via the usb cable nor would it charge. the steelseries engine didn't even recognize it as being plugged in. The only work around was to use it wirelessly but whats the point in having a wireless mouse if you can't charge it? So why am i rating it 3 stars out of 5? Well check this out, i had both the defective mouse and replacement mouse sitting next to each other and i noticed that the buttons don't even feel the same! the clicky-ness of the old mouse was far superior to the new replacement i was sent. The LMB feels so much sturdier as opposed to spongy like on my replacement. But im done sending it back in to be replaced. This one works as intended even if the mouse buttons aren't as great as the old broken mouse i had originally received.. But to have the quality vary this much on a $100 mouse is truly disappointing. I can only imagine how this mouse will hold up in a couple months. probably not well. I recommend you guys go with Logitech unless you want to gamble and see how your mouse turns out. maybe it will work right out of the box and maybe your mouse buttons will be the good ones too!

Good mouse
I bought this mouse and right out of the box liked the feeling of it and the look of it. Coming from a previous G502 it was important for me that the mouse had weights,so that I can customize it based on my style, that’s why I went for this specific more expensive version. My first attempt to use it tho,was a total disappointment. The house would not connect properly and would disconnect mid game, multiple times, even when connected with the cable. And the side plastic moved too much and made is uncomfortable. Ordered a replacement just because I wanted to give it another chance. Got my replacement super quick and now I don’t have any of the issues that I had. So far loving it. My only negative comments are 2. 1) about the weights themselves.. I think that they are kinda bulky and a different design might need to be considered, because they have kinda a hard time to stay in place in the way too small silicon slots that the mouse has, so either modify the weights of the slots on the mouse for it. 2) when you set the DPI there is no way for you to know exactly which one you are on,especially if you have them very close in the settings.. so it would be nice to have like a light change or something that tells you which DPI are you on at the moment, in order to have under control at all times and avoid problems from accidental clicks mid game. Other that that ,the mouse is great.

Best Mouse I've ever owned
After a month or so using this mouse, I've come to the conclusion it's literally the best mouse I've ever used. I'll break the review down in sections: Ergonomics: I'm an athletic guy who has larger hands, so a lot of mice never quite felt like they fit in my hand correctly. This mouse is wide and fits in my hand perfectly. Additionally, the added weights to give it some additional feedback when moving it around and has for the first time in my life alleviated that stiffness I get when using smaller mice for hours. Functionality: The additional programmable buttons are great, as I've used this mouse in business applications mapping macros to them, and the scroll wheel rocks when I'm using multiple spreadsheets at once. I also tested it out in a few FPS, and RTS titles to see how it faired and it has amazing response time, and accuracy. For my usage, I found the customization through SteelSeries software to be easy to use, however, it's overkill for my needs. Not a bad thing, as people who love to fully customize it have that option. Battery: I literally used this mouse for a week on one charge - at a minimum for 4-5 hours a day without having to recharge. I didn't run it until it died, but to say the battery life beats any of the other wireless mice I've used. Build Quality: This is where I highly endorse this product - the build quality is top of the line - period. I've used both Logitech, and Razer products in the past, and this product blows away my former favourite Razer Trinity by a large margin. Maybe it's the combination of plastic, rubber, and metal weights that gives it a tank feel, but even the buttons feel weighty when using them - which I prefer. Plus it's wireless which only adds to the benefit. Cost: It's not the cheapest, but I believe you pay for what you get and SteelSeries delivers high value for cost. Recommendation: I fully recommend this mouse to anyone who has large hands, likes heavier mice, and wants to have wireless capabilities. You won't be disappointed.

Overall good gaming mouse
I bought this mouse for gaming and as an every day purpose mouse and it works great with a few quarks. The side buttons work okay, it's just their position feels a little awkward. Doesn't feel as comfortable clicking on them compared to other mouses that I've used. The mouse wheel feels okay but not sure how durable it will be long term. Wish it had more of a clickier feel to it. Battery life is decent. It can last me about two days before needing another recharging. Although this mouse seems picky with what mouse padding surface you use. The sensor tracking can act a little wonky if you're using a low quality generic mouse pad. I bought a steelseries branded mouse pad with "optimized gaming sensor" surface and the mouse works a lot better with it.

So dissapointing, might have been my worst purchase of anything in the past ten years.
The mouse arrived in impressive packaging, setting a positive initial tone. However, this optimism was short-lived. While I was drawn to this mouse primarily for its weighted feature, I found the weights weren't pre-installed. The hub they connected to felt fragile, and the overall build of the mouse was questionable. A minor fall led to the sides detaching and the weights flying out, indicating a lack of durability. The weights are also quite small so when it fell I never did figure out where one of them went. There's about eight weights, four grams each. Upon connecting the mouse for charging, I was prompted to install software to configure its settings. I blew it off as I didn't want to install bloatware on my machine. This wasn't as optional as it seemed. The default settings, which showcased a full rainbow LED mode, were visually appealing but had a significant impact on the battery life. The battery issues became a major point of contention. Even with just two hours of daily use, I found myself charging it every other day. This inconvenience was exacerbated when the mouse stopped working just three days after a full charge (I forgot to charge it on day two) during a gaming session. This mouse can't last three days without a full charge at full settings?? If so I shouldn't have to install software on my computer to make the thing work by default for at least a week. I mean, I replace the batteries in my Logitech about once every six months or something, maybe more. You're telling me that this mouse which costs twice as much can't last a week because it (by default) has pretty lights? What's worse is I just tried to charge it for several hours and when I unplugged it it's blinking red like it's still dead. Adding to the overall dissatisfaction was my attempt to return the mouse. I discovered I was a week past the return window, which was frustrating. Given the myriad of issues I faced, from build quality to battery life, I strongly advise against purchasing this product.

Instantly loved it
It feels like a million bucks. Feels way more smooth and accurate than the Logitech G502, is made of premium feeling materials, has a nice weight to it, and the lift off is about as good as it gets, leagues better than I've ever felt. I played a few rounds of modern warfare with it and it instantly improved my game. The dedicated lift off sensor is not a gimmick, making large sweeping movements while running a high DPI possible. Also the DPI switch is in the perfect spot... easy to hit, but impossible to unintentionally hit. With the Logi I was hitting their dpi switch by accident almost every time I got into a firefight. The 1+2 mouse buttons are really nice, requiring some force to hit and delivering a positive actuation feel. They can take the weight of my finger without firing as a result, which is great. With the Logitech I used to have accidental discharges all the time because the buttons were so sensitive just the weight of my finger would fire them off. There are three thumb buttons, which is great, with the third being keyed 90 from the other two and slightly out of reach so you have to shift grip to hit it. This is great, and I'm still thinking of what I could bind to that. Aside from that, this mouse feels like it has zero gimmicks and it 100% designed to be a highly functional straight up gaming mouse.

Super Maus.

Great mouse, wireless is fast and responsive
Replacing a Corsair M65 gaming mouse with this one. Had nothing but issues with Corsair and their software and the left mouse button not working right. Got this one and I am very happy with it, comfy and comes with 8 4g weights you can add or substract. Lighting is fine. I do wish the DPI selection switch was lit and changed colours with which DPI setting you were on, and only seems to be two settings you can use for that in the SteelSeries software. Maybe that will change with an update. Overall very impressed. The wireless is really responsive, though you charge the mouse with a usb charge cord, so you can use wireless or on a cord. Mouse movement is smooth and tactile clicks.
