Great results!
Solved a big problem for this old lady. Rising from chair was very difficult and big struggle. This gave me the additional height to make the transition from sitting to standing a smooth transition. Still in great shape and use since march 2021.

Pricey but worth every penny!
A month shy of 82 yrs old and I had no difficulty placing the Little Boost Platform under my recliner. I just tilted the chair forward, placed the platform in position, and tilted the chair back down. I considered other options such as a lift chair or a cushion, but decided this was the best option for me. It raises my chair to just the right height making it easy for me to stand up. The platform is sturdy and the non-skid areas where the chair sits also makes it safe. I highly recommend it.

Perfect boost!
I bought this for my 88 year old dad who has trouble getting out of his old Lazy Boy recliner rocker. It's an older chair, and by the time my dad slides to the front to get up out of the chair, it's only about 12" off the ground and he has trouble standing up. I bought this "Little Boost Platform" and just installed it under his chair tonight. It's so awesome! It boosts the chair up to the perfect height, and prevents the chair from going forward too much when he slides to the front. It still rocks perfect and it's much easier for him to get out of. It's on the carpet and the boost does not slide on the carpet and the chair does not slide on the boost. It has rubber corners where the chair legs sit on that keeps it very stable. I wasn't sure if it would work for a recliner, but it's perfect. I actually bought it to put a swivel rocker with a round base on, which we eventually will do, but for now, it's perfect for the rocker recliner too.

Very stable platform and well made!
My dad fractured his pelvis so getting out of his recliner was a struggle. This platform has made a huge difference in his mobility getting out of the chair. The recliner fits perfectly on top. The feet sit on a rough textured area of the platform. The platform also has a bit of a lip so the legs can't slide off the edge. We have the platform on a rug so there is no slipping around. Excellent product and solution!

Works wonderfully.
That extra few inches makes getting into and out of my recliner so much easier. It is fully stable and does not slip at all on carpet.

Tall or disabled...great help!
Bought a new LAZBOY recliner but it was not available with factory lifts they install to raise the chair a couple of inches. Unfortunately it was the only chair that was comfortable with an arthritic back but the problem was my arthritic knees that can't handle low chairs. I didn''t want a lift chair. So I went on Amazon looking for a solution and here was the Little Boost Platform. It provides a nice height to the chair (I'm 5'9") without my feet dangling in the air. It is fairly stable although with my very thick carpet there is a little wobble to it. It only comes in black and it does extend beyond the chair. Fortunately, my chair is dark brown leather so it doesn't show too badly. But aesthetics aside, this platform is awesome. I can easily get in and out of my comfortable chair. I haven't violated my warranty by building and attaching a frame to my chair. This thing is great and costs $50 more than LAZBOY was going to charge for their lifts if they would've fit the chair. I'm very pleased and highly recommend for tall or physically challenged people.

It’s sturdy, won’t slip on the carpet and holds 500 lbs.
My husband got a lift recliner because he is disabled...the recliner was just a tad short when he lifted himself to stand up from a sitting position. He’d end up in a stooped position and he still had to help himself up with his arms. He’s 6’2”, 317 lbs...this boost platform was just the right height added under his recliner to make getting to a standing position much easier. It added 3”...doesn’t seem like much but it made a world of difference to him. We paid $189...we thought it was expensive but considering it made his life better it is worth it. We got our lift recliner at Gallery Furniture in Houston. The delivery on the boost platform was much quicker than we expected. It’s sturdy and the paper that came with it says it will hold 500 lbs. My husband was so happy to see it arrive. We highly recommend this item.
