Excellent product, highly recommended
I shifted to shaving soap after decades of shaving foam after accidentally sampling one at a hotel. Shaving soap gives a superior shaving experience. Trigodon Wild seas is a wonderful product and you will not be overcome by the smell. It gives a rich lather and a very smooth shave. It will not pinch your pocket as the tin will last long. Go for it , you will not be disappointed .

Stunning Product
What an excellent tin of work. Love the fragrance, love the lathering, leave it for a few mins and you have smooth shave! Love the fragrance as well. Wish they can make this in a tube as well. Shows passion that goes into it. One suggestion use a nice brush to foam up, avoid plastic bristle ones

Devine fragrance, good lather that results in an amazing shaving experience.
TL;DR; Just bloody buy it already. Navjot Sidhu once famously said during commentary, "A good lather is half the shave!!" and I see the truth in that. For that, you need a good shaving soap and this product is exactly that. I'll just say that this is an awesome product. From the first glance of opening the package down to the end of the shave, it feels like it is a well made, well thought and a premium product. The fact that this is made in India is a cherry on the cake. I started using a double edge safety razor in the last 2 years and it has been a revelation. Razor burns have been next to zero. I haven't touched a gilette razor since then. I have therefore gone out and bought several shaving soaps mainly to try out various brands and also for their fragrances/textures. This Trigodon Wild Seas is absolutely right up there with the best and I've purchased both their fragrances on Amazon. Scent: I'm biased towards Woodland Umber because I love forests and hiking through them. But the Wild Seas fragrance is not far behind either and I love this too. The fragrance feels fresh, crisp and light reminding you of stormy seas. However, I do think the scent can be slightly overpowering (just a tiny bit and maybe Trigodon can reduce the perfume oils by ~5%). There is a review somewhere below that describes how important the 15-20 mins of shaving is in a man's life. I totally agree with him. A great fragrance can lift your spirits and enhance your mood. It will make your day by giving it a good start. Lather: Lathering is good, forms quickly and in about minute you have a rich, slick lather - not too runny and not too foamy either (I have a synthetic brush not badger hair). The soap provides good lubrication with the skin and the razor can do its job without giving any razor burns. So plus points to that. The lather also stays firm in the bowl, enough to last for a 2nd pass. Pricing: It is slightly on the higher side, but I'm ok with it considering it is an Indian product and I'd like to see more from a company that has already given us this. The tin feels premium, the scent is great and the lather is good too, which does justify the price in a way. I've been using it for the last 6-7 (not everyday) and it has lasted well. Materials: I liked how they packaged it. The box is neat and it contained a small note describing the soap and what Trigodon's philosophy was. Just makes the product more wholesome. The tin feels premium and the font on the label is good (could be a little bigger for older eyes). Just buy it. Buy both of them. And if Trigodon lists their third fragrance on amazon, buy that as well.

Very good. Definitely would recommend.
It's a great soap for the price. Primary fatty acids are coconut oil and stearic acid, thus it makes a slick and moisturizing lather. Shea butter is cherry on top. I did struggle initially to build a stable lather due to sub-optimally bigger bubbles forming, but a little bit of elbow grease got rid of the bubbles and created a stable lather good enough for a 2-pass shave. Post shave feel (augmented with an alum bar) is soft skin free of any irritation/razor-burn. Shave info for reference - Brush used - Pink Woolf Boar 24mm knot. Razor used - Rockwell 6S (Pass 1 WTG - Plate 4, Pass 2 XTG - Plate 2) Blade used - Indian Astra SP After shave - BSC Post Shave Balm

Great shaving round.
It comes in a lot of fancy packing. The price is obviously at the higher end. The literature that it contains sets high expectations. Just for some background: I shave every day before going to work. So I have to use a double edge blade and associated razor. So I have to do multiple passes and have to use a brush and hot water to shave. The packing is premium and they have done a good job here. The scent adds tremendously to the shaving experience. To me it felt rather luxurious to have that great scent while shaving. My shaving activity takes around 15 minutes a day. So having that great smell is just amazing. The lather is luxurious again. I keep repeating that word. But really, compared to the other cheaper shaving round and creams, this is in a whole different league. I was able to whip up a good lather on my imitation badger brush. And that lather lasted for the entire 3-4 passes of the razor. To me that's a big deal, because with other creams and rounds, I have to whip up a new lather every time I do a pass of the razor. With this, I just have to whip up the brush once and it lasts a long time. The shave was smooth, it's a perfect complement to the feather blades that I use. The container looks seriously classy, somebody has put a lot of effort in designing this product and it really does show. It does live up to the expectations. Will I buy this again? Absolutely. This is what has been missing in my shaving routine. Sorry for the long review, but I take shaving seriously.

A superb performer at a budget price.
First off a bit of background. I've been wet shaving for approximately 4 years. Early on, like many others, I felt compelled to sample as many soaps, razors and blades as possible. I've tried all of the "must haves". I quickly learned which soaps and razors I seemed to use the most. Mostly tallow soaps. Mostly medium to mild razors and blades. I have normal to slightly sensitive skin. Enter Trigodon soap. Very nice aluminum container. Wide enough to load a brush in---I bowl lather. Scent is mild. Very pleasing scent profiles. Present throughout the shave. Very nice! Lathering is extremely easy. Thick, creamy and glossy lather. Tight, dense bubbles. BTW I use mostly Omega and Semogue boar brushes. I have two synthetics which get some use as well. The lather spreads easily. Does not dissipate in any way. Easily lasts the entire shave. A warmed ceramic bowl keeps the remaining lather warm for the next pass. Razor glide is smooth and fluid. No skipping or stuttering as I pull it along. Easy WTG and XTG passes. I never do ATG passes. I dont chase BBS shave at all. I am perfectly content with DFS. Post shave was very nice. I couple of my tallow soaps did a tiny bit better but not by much. And they are double the price. My skin felt smooth--not dry. Normal--nor tight. I could have skipped post shave routine if needed. But as many wet shavers know the post shave routine is equally important---if not as much fun as the actual shave. I equally enjoy the preshave, shave and post shave portions. Post shave is very very nice! I did skip all pre shave products while initially testing this soap. In short this is a very very nice soap. A budget standout in all areas. Scent is very nice. Dissipates after shave as not to conflict with aftershave or cologne. Lather is thick, long lasting, creamy and cushioning. Post shave is excellent. I could easily skip post shave balms in summer months. I enjoy balms in winter for the extra protection. All in all a great soap at a great price. YMMV but I am extremely pleased with this product. I purchased two and will probably purchased the 3rd scent as well. I wish this company continued success. I hope folks discover what an excellent budget shave soap this is.

Luxurious
Royal, luxurious feel shave. Was reluctant to get back to shaving soaps but glad I did. My shaving ritual did not take any longer and was a luxurious experience. Was able to get amazing lather and the after shave fragrance was great. Awesome Product!

No scent at all
I bought the Wild Seas. Soap lathers well and is very thick. Shaves well but almost ZERO scent. Was very disappointed with that. Maybe I just got an old tin of it. Iโll use what I have, but I wonโt buy it again.

Simply put, an excellent product! Having used shaving foam/gel for years, it was refreshing and surprising as to how much of a better, cleaner and closer shave this gives. Highly recommend it!
