Danielson19in x 12in Jumbo Canvas Creel

Wasn’t foe me…was a Christmas gift.

I grew up with creel of this style and, after forty plus years, I finally had to put it to rest. I was surprised it was very difficult to replace and unfortunately have not yet found a suitable replacement. Will this creel do, yes, but only basically. the opening is small compared to the length of the creel and trying to comfortably place a squirming fish inside is not an easy task. The mechanism to open and close the top is plastic instead of metal and I don't suspect it will last more than a couple of seasons. The pouches are too small for the containers I normally carry my equipment in and the snaps are all plastic as well. For the price, it's okay.

The shoulder strap is shorter than my older one making it more combersome.

I orded 2 bags and they arrived broken. I sent them back and was sent 2 replacement bags which also arrived with broken hinges where you open the bag. These are nice bags when they work, but the plastic hinges are poorly made.

Good quality creel

My husband always had one of these bags. Had his last one for years. I guess that's why they're making them so cheaply now. We got it and both sides were broken. Sent back for another one and that arrived with both sides broken also. Broken where it hinges open. All the hardware is plastic now. He's just using his old one. And the large size is about the size of an older small. No way would his limit of 5 trout fit into it.

It's cheap, and its not as big as they say it is.
