We have speakers on the deck from the whole house audio system, but they are hard to hear while in the tub without blasting the neighborhood. This little speaker has a big battery that should play for hours, I don't need the battery life and have yet to test it. I did dunk it in the tub to make sure it would survive before deciding to keep it. I recorded the video on my iPhone, so could not play music and record video at the same time. The speaker played music under water after I filmed this video. And, when I pulled it out of the water it fired water out of the grill like in the photo. Funny!FWIW, this was right out of the box without charging. It connected to BT without issues and without weird spoken word notices. It just does chimes and tones which is much better.Pro's - Heavy build quality, I dropped it from about 4 feet to a tile floor, no issues - Good bass response, not a Bose system, but very good - Plays when wet, even under water - Loud enough to have around a noisy hot tub - Includes a headphone jack input - You can charge your phone while you play musicCons - None yet

This speaker makes a terrible and abrupt noise while playing music — sometimes the annoying sounds are only 20 seconds apart. The info booklet doesn’t mention what the sound indicates, and I’ve had it plugged into a wall charger, so low battery shouldn’t be the issue. When I went back to scan the comments for clues, I noticed that many of them were FAKE, by “verified users” who leave reviews on the same products by this seller and others.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  It's an excellent blue tooth speaker. It offers deep enough bass and excellent highs. Once I unboxed it, had it charging for over four hours. Seemed fully charged to me, so I connected with my phone and listened to Pandora for over four hour straight. Second day, I used the speaker again for well over 4 hours and without hesitation it screamed just as loud as it did the first day. You can definitely feel the power of 36 watts speakers.Build of this speaker is solid. This came with an 9" aux. cable, micro USB to 2.0 USB cable, instruction manual. Instruction manual is easy to follow and straight forward.I will say this much. When I started using at my work it did receive attention. And within three days later admirer of this speaker stole it from my office. So, make sure do not leave it unattended else it has tendency to grow legs and walk away.It's truly worth every single penny you spent on this speaker. Soon, I will buy another one to replace the one I lost.

As a contractor, I drive around in a very noisy box truck with a crappy factory FM radio. This portable speaker is one of the few I have owned that actually gets loud enough to be heard over the road noise. Besides that, it's ruggedly built and has survived numerous falls without incident, and the battery life is amazing! I have listened to it up to twenty hours a week and by the end of the week it still doesn't need to be charged. It will also hold its charge when not used for a while. Impressive. There are rubbery controls for power, volume up/skip forward, volume down/skip back, play/pause, and speakerphone. And the rope loop works great for carrying it around. Forget over-hyped speakers like Bose... Hands down, this is the perfect speaker for a contractor, or anyone else for that matter.

Bought this to strap to my mountain bikes oversized bottle holder, Fits like a glove and this thing just flat out cranks. For its size it really packs a punch. They will hear me coming from blocks away now ... Good Stuff !

I have a number of different similar portable speakers and this is a great one! Bluetooth connectivity was VERY easy (shows up as POWERADD) and it automatically reconnects with my phone when I turn it on, no hassles at all.I compared it with several other similar speakers, this is built like a TANK. Very solid. 2lbs 3.6 ounces. It feels solid and not like something cheap or plastic. There are nice grippy silicone feet, and i LOVE that it's waterproof (none of my otheres are). The little rope lanyard is very heavy duty and is a nice optional attachment point (I'm thinking to add a carabiner).The control buttons illuminate, making them easy to find int he dark. The bass is solid and present, and the sound quality is pleasant. The volume goes quite loud considering the size of this.Very impressed with this little speaker setup! Recommended

Absolutely GREAT sound! Bought this speaker eighteen months ago and it worked without fail until about two months ago. The sound would simply drop out in the middle of a song. If I restarted the song, it would play fine. This does not happen with my other Bluetooth speaker or sound bar. Today, it would not power on at all, even after charging for several hours the day before and not being used. Not sure what is happening with the speaker, perhaps it is just time to replace it.
