WAPPY DOG FOR NINTENDO DS

We bought this for our eight-year old daughter for her birthday, and she loves it! The dog is very cute, the game is fun enough, and overall it was a good purchase.A few notes--The stickers that you can use to decorate your Wappy were an unexpected bonus that she was very pleased with. Unfortunately they were a bit difficult to put on without cutting down, especially the eye spot. Since we weren't expecting them though I think they were still a nice thing to have.-The game doesn't seem as entertaining as some of her other games (she's really in to Pokemon, Animal Crossing, and Mario games), but we weren't expecting it to be so it was fine. For a younger child or a more casual gamer, the game would be perfect.-The dog is very very cute, although she was a little disappointed that it doesn't do as much as she had hoped, When you aren't playing the game, the dog will still bark and sing. Still though, the dog is her favorite part and has joined her other toys as just a cute puppy to play with.Overall this was a good purchase, we are very happy with it and it ended up as one of her favorite gifts of her birthday!

Our six year old is a big fan of Nintendogs -- she's probably put in 60 hours training and grooming her dogs. Wappy Dog is a perfect next step for her, and she loves it.The game has two modes. "Travel mode" looks a little like Nintendogs, and involves mini games and interacting with a virtual Wappy. "Home mode" has different minigames, and lets you interact with robot Wappy. The more you play, the more Wappy develops, learning new songs and tricks. The robot Wappy doesn't do much - he lights up, sits, and makes noises - but that's enough for my daughter. You can pet him, and can customize him with some included stickers. Wappy Dog has become her new favorite game, at least as long as she can keep unlocking tricks and accessories.Recommended for younger fans of Nintendogs.

Bought this for my sister as a Christmas gift, and was worried about the size when I ordered it, but it is way bigger than I thought it would be, and I'm very pleased with that. My sister plays it on her 3DS XL and it works perfectly. She has just started playing it and already she has gotten the dog to move her front legs, make noises, and tilt it's head. Also, incredibly pleased with my shipping, of which I played for 2 day shipping and I got it overnight. Overall a great item to purchase and would definitely buy again. Great job Amazon!!!

My 6-year-old daughter received Wappy Dog for Christmas, and it is by far her favorite gift. In fact, it is probably her favorite video game and favorite toy EVER. She is completely in love with this game. The mini games are fun and educational, and she loves the toy dog. She would play with this all the time if I would let her. She recently asked me if she would ever "beat" the game because she said she would be very sad if she lost her "friendship" with Wappy. Highly recommend this game for all pet-loving kids who may not be old enough to responsibly care for a real pet.

Fully boxed, toy and all. Minor dents on the box itself, but everything within was in good condition. The only thing missing was the game card, which really bummed me out and left me with an incomplete set.I'm no collector of course, so this wasn't too much of an issue to get around, but I wouldn't recommend this seller.

Cute and functional

The toy is fine, despite the package being damaged and "repaired" with sticky labels! (See photos) It has been a week since receiving and using this game and toy, and so far, no damage to either of those. Therefore, 3 stars. My 5 year old is only somewhat interested in this very noisy toy and game.

My 10 year old daughter loves the Wappy Dog and has not tired of working with him since xmas. He "learns" more and more songs with each birthday. This was a great deal (I think I paid $9.99) vs retail price of $49. We got this instead of Zoomer which was going for about $80. She likes that she communicates through her DS
