Logan A1 Shepherds Whistle, Green

I'm in love with these Logan whistles. I have three already, and I'm trying to think of reasons why I might need more. I purchased a few other brands (of sheepdog whistles), but these are the best by far. Easiest to play, and the best sound. I keep one on my keychain and another on a lanyard, to be removed from my rear-view mirror and hung around my neck every time I drive somewhere alone, so I can play along with whatever songs I find on my radio. My local city orchestra might not be looking to sign me up, but I have a hell of a great time and my ability to play the right notes is ever improving. It takes time (weeks), so don't give up! And my next dog is going to be learning some "whistle words." :-)

Skip the instructions--go right to You Tube. Plenty have uploaded easy-to-follow videos. Takes some deliberate practice. Definitely gets the attention of dogs.

Easy to use , easy to learn. I use it in training my dog

I was a bit worried about how long it would take to learn to use it but just needed a quick practice in the car. I tend to whistle for the dog with my fingers in my mouth so I think the tongue position is fairly similar. My puppy responds well and I’m sure we will, in time, learn different signals together.The whistle is a very attractive design which is nice since It will be around my neck every day for the foreseeable future. I’ve also purchased a necklace extender with two lobster clasps so I can hook it onto whatever I’m wearing around my neck.

Great whistle easily loud enough and not that difficult to use .
