Good book. This book prepares very well the reader to the CTAL-TM certification. This book contais all the topics of the CTAL-TM syllabus. If you read it, you will be able to be approved in the test. It just is not five stars because the examples could be better.

More easily understood than the online training material so very helpful resource when studying for the ISTQB Advanced Test Manager accreditation. Highly recommend.

There is so much incorrect information out there by so called Software Testing experts. This is a must book for all those who really want to learn the correct terminologies or are preparing for certification.

This book was very helpful in my study for the ISTQB Advanced test manager certification. I used this book along with the RBCS exam prep that they offer to help my pass the exam. I recommend anyone interested in taking the ISTQB ATM to use this book.

Yes, I'm reading this and think this is good enough to get ready for the exam. But I can not find big difference against Free advanced level syllabi. Well, up to you to decide to buy this book if you are keen on more detailed descriptions. It will not guarantee you will get certificate because you read this version.

No soft copy

The book builds on the fact that it is a virtual monopoly in the ISTQB-ATM books domain. It has a very faithful mapping to the chapters of the official ISTQB syllabus, which greatly helps the candidate. However, there is space for improvement:-The content is a bit dated-Many figures are inadequately captioned; figures 2-23, 2-24 are described using colors while they are all black & white; figures are in general of poor quality-The text sometimes drags too long without adding to the argumentation thus making the book needlessly long-The risk-based strategy is disproportionately promoted; same for the CTP process improvement process as if the author is heavily biased in favor of those-The questions at the end of each chapter are quite basic compared to actual exam questions; the answers are not justified or discussed-Too much American slang is used-Occasionally uses terms that have not been defined and are not in the ISTQB syllabus or glossary; however this is sporadic-Subchapters are sometimes unstructured/unnumbered; this is only a minor inconvenience, though-The author quite regularly advertises their company

I suggest to use the book to prepare yourself for the ISTQB Advanced Test Manager Exam.This is simply enough to prepare. Includes all you need.

Book is good to read but delivery was too delayed

I have been a big fan of Rex Black for a long time and have read almost all of the books authored or co-authored by him.This is a great book for people who are already into quality management or passionate to become quality managers. Theauthor wrote his heart out about quality and shared a lot of his experiences, which I feel is invaluable to me.It is also a great book to read if you are planning to take up the ISTQB - Advanced Level exam for manager.
